I have been here and walked about half of it. I took my sweetie this time and we walked the whole reserve. There are no basketball 🏀, ⚾️, soccer ⚽️ or any kind of games here. There is no playground equipment of anything here for young children to play on. This is a reserve of nature, seeing all kinds of birds 🦅 because this reserve has some serious lakes here you will see in my pics. The ducks 🦆 and the geese 🪿 loves this lace year around. The trails here are not just flat which means you can get a good cardio domes here. Come on and try this and or bring your mountain style bike 🏍️ and enjoy it here as it is very peaceful.

Cool park with a fun hiking trail. Lots of ducks. We even had some young ducks come waddling right up to us out of the water.

Boise has more than 90 developed parks. Last week I visited Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve. It’s a 53 acre park that serves as a sanctuary for birds, bats, and animals. If I had known about the bats, I would’ve visited sooner. This park has stocked ponds and fishing. I was there for almost 2 hours. All of these photos are taken in sequence with the intention of giving you a sense of what it’s like to walk through the park and loop around to the sidewalk that runs down Maple, then re-enter the park and exit. I’ve even included a couple of short videos. Enjoy!

My daughter and I wanted to take a walk close to her apartment. It was already dark however we went anyways. This was my first time walking at Hyatt Hidden Lakes, my daughter had been here a couple of times before . there was plenty of parking of course since it was late night. It would have been pitch black however the moon was bright enough shining on the lake to where we could see the many choices of paths to take. We both felt comfortable even though it was dark. Just a side note there were a couple other people that had the same idea we did. When I'm in town again I will definitely look forward to taking a walk during the day so I can actually see...

For anyone at all worried about West Nile virus this place is like a catalyst for it's spread. I could at one time (before they built this place) leave my house at night without many, if any mosquitoes coming to take my blood. Now it's "bring on the horde!" I'm constantly smacking myself. There is not much flow in this place so it's ripe for the growth of these things. these people tell you on one hand how to stop the growth of mosquitoes and the spread of diseases by not having standing water etc. around your place and on the other they say "Let's build a swamp in the middle of a...
