I happened upon this place when we unexpectedly found out that a nearby store we wanted to visit was closed. Gosh I am so lucky that happened! This store is an absolute MUST to visit if you are home brewing or just want to have a beer with nice people. There is an area for you to sit and drink on-tap beers, and lots of really cool and nice people to chat with. The gentleman running the store and the taps was extremely helpful, did not make us feel rushed, and very friendly. The whole experience was so fun, and I got to grab supplies I needed while also relaxing with a beer.

The box had significant damage when I picked it up from my front porch & grain was spilling out. I understand they cannot control how it is handled once it leaves their facility, but the packing was very inadequate for shipping 60 lbs. of product from Idaho to Ohio. I also had two yeast envelopes fall out of the box along with the grain. I contacted their email address, included pictures, and requested a refund for the yeast... but never received a reply. So bottom line is you get what you pay for on their free...

Hops are mostly pellet but they have a few varieties of whole cone. Tons of equipment. Prices seem reasonable and in line with other shops i have been to.
