Lake Foxcroft Park — Attraction in Illinois

Playground for kids is very nice. The running road surrounding the park is good. The field for soccer is wonderful and the lake is clean once in a while but prepare your kids for they see fishing people and then you have to explain to them why they wound the fish mouth with the hook and toss the fish back in the water to get infected or die. How the hell you explain that to your 3 year old and 5 year old ha... someone explain that to me. My son said why is everyone cruel to the fish? And nobody is even feeding them. It broke my heart so now I will take him to where the fishing...

What a great local park!

Has paved trail that goes all the way around it.

A big playground area for the kids.

The lake is a catch and release lake which is great for the kids! Lots of fun fishing here!

Has a small flower garden and that garden is a Monarch Butterfly rest area!

Throw in the ramp that extends into the lake... which allows you to take some cool pictures...

You just need to see this place...

We stumbled across this park on our way home today. My son loved the fact it had water and a park! He was most excited to see a baby turtle and some frogs in the water then the actual park. 🤣 The park and playground were both clean, lots to do and see so we would most definitely come back if we're in...
