As another review said, you get attitude if you call to ask anything. One morning I called and hadnāt realized it was a few minutes before they were supposed to open, a woman answered in an abrasive manner like I was a huge inconvenience and quickly put me on hold, for over 5 minutes, so I decided Iād call back when they were less ābusyā or at least when there was someone in a better mood to talk to. But today specifically was the last straw in dealing with this school. Everyoneās time is valuable right? At least thatās how I feel. I called twice and spoke to two different staff members, making sure that if I came in with a return that they would accept it. I dropped a course and had two books that were new but had open packaging. One book had a code that the instructor had us sign into on the first day of class. I made sure to give the bookstore this information and both staff members I spoke to said it isnāt an issue as long as I get paperwork from the cashiers office saying I have dropped the course. So I spend my time acquiring the needed documentation. I drive to the campus and tell the staff what I had been told over the phone, they say I cannot return the books because the code has been used, despite the information Iād been given over the phone by two employees. I then informed them the person I spoke to on the phone had said to speak with the manager if I had any issues returning them. Well, by luck (I thought), the manager was walking out for lunch as I was speaking with the staff and they called her over. You could see she didnāt want to deal with this because she was on her way out. So I quickly got a response, no return. This leads me to believe that either one of two issues is happening, either you need to train your employees to be able to tell people correct information over the phone, or the school needs to get a new manager because she cares more about her time than the time others have taken out of their day to get to this āmoment of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered a laptop for online classes and paid 20 bucks for fastest shipping. 4 days later they email me saying my order is canceled because theyre out of stock. Problem is they never refunded me the money they already took for this laptop ill never recieve. They wont return my calls either. Avoid purchasing from here, theyll scam you out of 600 dollars.
Update: Recieved a refund but took over a week after the original purchase. Took my emailing the director of the bookstore a dozen times while just recieving generic "contact the bookstore by phone they can help you" (who wouldn't even return my calls), as well as basically being called a liar because "its just not possible for these things to happen, since we dont charge your account until the order is fulfilled" (except they did and I proved that with a few quick screen shots).
On a non laptop related note, I gave them another shot and ordered a online only two rod organizer from here for $160 dollars yesterday. Saw the exact same one on Target's website and a few other store's websites for $80 to $90 max. Thought about contacting them to get them to cancel the order for the product but after last time I just don't have the mental energy or the time to go through that ridiculously drawn out and complicated process. It's really not that hard people! It blows my mind how you managed to completely take the convenience out of online shopping, who's whole selling point is that it's convenient!
In conclusion just dont buy anything from here. Prices are exorbitant, customer service is nonexistent, and just an overall bad...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery annoyed with the lack of communication. I ordered a laptop over two weeks ago along with some other items, I have received all other items aside from the laptop. No status update, nothing aside from it saying ānot readyā on the order. I tried to call 4 separate times to ask what the ETA was the first week- goes straight to voicemail, I leave a voicemail, they claim they call back within 24-48 hours. Never got a single call back. So I had to leave work early and drive there just to ask, was told that the processing for laptops could be a little longer and that it would just a take a few more days. Fine, no problem. A few days pass, I try calling again 4-5 more times and left voicemails as there was still no update. No calls back at all. So again, I had leave work early and drive there just to ask the status of my order. Now Iām being told thereās some issue with the supplier and that they donāt know if Iām getting my order or not, and that the order wonāt be cancelled until they know theyāre not getting it (No ETA given) so over $1,000 are tied up into this laptop I may or may not get. At the very least, if there were supply issues- they could have sent a simple email to customers to notify them of the delay or explain the issue at hand. I find it ridiculous that I had to go on this goose chase just to ask a question. I canāt even buy another laptop until this issue is resolved. I ordered ahead so I would be able to use it for the semester and now the semester is started and I have no computer and no ETA on when Iāll get...
