Ebenezer Park Beach — Attraction in India Hook

I hate to be that guy who complains but I just drove up here today and I wasn't expecting there to be a fee to get in. I didn't see any one star reviews until now about this and I wasted time and fuel heading somewhere I couldn't stop to relax for a little while. I heard that the staff were unpleasant which is another reason I didn't bother wasting my time here. I can officially agree with some people that if you don't want any drama or trouble with anyone who knows things better than you do, don't waste your time. It seemed really busy and packed for a Friday afternoon which was also unexpected. I am afraid I cannot do well in crowds too much so therefore I may consider driving somewhere else...

I love this park! It has a taste of the beach, camping, fishing, playground, swimming area and plenty of picnic areas. The best part for me was the heavy duty swings on the pier. I was able to enjoy gazing out at the water while swinging in the shade. This park has a little everything. There was a fee to access this park though. As a military veteran I paid $4. Wonderful place to visit and picnic, swim and adventure. Beautiful waters, many boats and wildlife about. Has restrooms to shower after swimming with changing areas, also playground for children.
