Less than pleased when we played here last weekend and two days in a row the truck came thru to empty portable toilets during games & at lunch time for that matter. The truck then proceeded to back up amongst all the people watching the games. It was distracting for players and parents watching and overall gross!! A time should be scheduled when people aren’t at the park or they should be moved all together away from people. Also, the concessions were cash only which is frustrating.

Patriot Park is an expansive, well-groomed complex of baseball fields. There is ample parking and plenty of space for fans to social distance as they watch the games. There is a pretty walking trail that goes around the perimeter of the park by wetlands.

A decent baseball/softball complex āš¾ļø Travel team has been coming here once a year for the past six years. Kids and parents love that we can spend time on Lake Michigan beach between games.

Not bad as far as softball fields go.

Minuses: My daughter as a catcher did not really love how far it was to the backstop from home plate. Crushed limestone surface on the infield which can be hard for girls when sliding. A bit weird to have the port a potties pumped right in the middle of the tournament (2 days in a row), but certainly preferable to the overflowing johns I've witnessed at other tournaments. 🤢

Pluses: Nice playground for the sibling set, always a bonus. Plenty of space near fields to enjoy a picnic lunch. Restrooms were clean and didn't run out of TP which if you've ever been to a big tournament with tons of girls and moms, you know that is a precious resource! Lots of seating areas and enough space between fields to not worry excessively...

They do Not play the National Anthem before the first game. Concession are crazy expensive. Restrooms are clean. Umpires are questionable. The man who in charge & rides around on a golf cart is very very RUDE! They do need more parking. On the baseball fields the backstop is to much of a gap especially for the 9 yr olds. There’s a grass patch and that’s where the fence should be. There are port-a-potties the downfall of those, the poop truck goes through with people & kids walking on the sidewalk to clean them throughout the day. They have scoreboards but they either don’t work or they just don’t want...
