We used to have a blast everytime we visited until we were told the splash pad was being tested for ecoli last summer. Yesterday was our first time back. It's not as nice as last year. Ppl are allowing their kids to trash the place, run crazy unsupervised, and do as they please. My 5 yr old girl got a bloody nose and busted lip from 2 big boys running through the equipment not being careful of others, and smacked into her head on around a corner. Now accidents happen but the parents nor kids didn't care and didn't stop them....nearly knocking down my 1 yr old as well. It was scary. Then another kid swinging large tree branches around unsupervised along with many other children. I hope no one else has this experience. Its a place for kids to let loose, climb, have fun, but it needs to still be safe and supervised. So everyone can have fun. We need to care for our parks and community to keep it safe and nice...

My father coached boys basketball in the rec center before & for a few years after I was born. I have so many good memories set in this park & I'm grateful it's been kept as...
