Funky Bones — Attraction in Indianapolis

Funky Bones is a very small part of the Indianapolis Museum of Art campus which includes the 100 Acre Art and Nature Park. You should take a look at the web site to view the daily and seasonal offers and exhibits. Pick what you want and enjoy. We spent an afternoon with the grandkids in the 100 acre park enjoying hiking around the lake, river, woods and using the various art pieces like Funky Bones to climb on....

The path around the lake is finally open! Which means not only can you enjoy the art at the front of the park, you can also enjoy a proper loop path hike!! The lath around the lake makes for a really nice, easy to moderate trail, and the front of the park is a great place to lay in the sun if your pool is closed to Covid! It's pretty much what you would expect. They are bones, and boy, are they funky. Kids seem to love them. I would say these bones are a great staple of the park.
