The venue is beautiful but thats all. Miranda is extremely unprofessional, scheduling appointments and not showing. Texting one-word answers to questions. She told me to look at their website to see the different ways they can set the room up and send her a picture of the one I like best, which I did, but the room wasn’t set up that way. The morning of my wedding Miranda unlocked the venue prior to our arrival but I never saw her the entire day. I had to figure out where everything is located and how to work things like the industrial coffee maker and the sound system. She was supposed to move the foozeball table to make room for a kid’s activity area, I had to move that myself. Also, the mirrors and glass panes on the doors of the bridal suite were filthy. The trash cans were full when I arrived, as were the cigarette urns out front and there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the restrooms. The girl who had gotten married the night before me came in to pick up her leftovers, which she was told she could leave in the fridge as long as she picked up by 11am. She was there at 10 but the food had been thrown away. The girl called Miranda and Miranda said she had no idea what happened to it and asked if my party was there yet. Sort of insinuating that perhaps we had thrown away her food. The designated area for picture taking was covered in fire ant hills to the point that we couldn’t use it. My Maid of honor got all bit up. The gazebo was full of dirt and twigs, it should have been swept out before I used it. My dress hem was all dirty before the wedding. The fountain beside the gazebo was full of trash and inoperable. Miranda likes for the wedding party to clean and vacuum before we leave. They charge a $300 deposit and, if you clean, you get it back. I had fully planned to clean and then tip her out of the deposit money. After my experience I didn’t bother to clean at all. The place is a country/rustic minded couple's fantasy! The place is decked out in complete wood decor. This place is reminiscent of a very fancy hunting club-type feel. The antler chandeliers are a wonderful touch. There is a area with a pool table to occupy the guys on the wedding day. There is also a bridal suite on one of the building's two lofts. One word. Horrible. The owner is unprofessional. The "event planner" is unorganized. They tell you they will take care of certain things but they don't. They tell you items are available to use and they are not. They get in your way and are very rude. They say things that shouldn't be said and do things that should not be. They don't have their act together. We even got the deposit check back and it bounced. Yes the inside is pretty but you can't tell that from the outside. They even started redoing the gazebo outside and said it would be ready in time to take the brides pictures but it wasn't ready. Would...
