Hello,
The Check-In was nice, the gentleman was courteous. Our stay was comfortable and accommodating but could be a tad more.
While staying, we had a chance to get breakfast in the morning, simply disgusting! The food was cold that should be hot, and the bacon, geez, 15 lbs. of bacon overcooked and all meshed together like roadkill. The starches were stail and hard to chew. The cost was $25 including the tip. The young lady who asked us about the meal was nice and concerned about the food not being up to standard--she agreed.
The beds were comfortable, clean, but the bathroom should have been cleaner than we found it. There were too many fingerprints on the handles that should be sparkling from the Covid Pandemic cleaning agents. They simply were not! Overall, this is a hard task, yes, but raise the bar and make it shine, Hilton Employees, and management oversee the job(s) are done correctly.
The management, well, we had a chance to meet with one, and Amanda, not too kind with words. Her colloquials were not appreciated, where yes is expected not a long-winded yeah or yep, unprofessional. Someone like herself needs to learn and inherit the Hotel / Customer Service / Vernacular. We tried to work with her and she is just not cut-out for the role of management or assistant management. Although, we did have a sour taste in our mouths, it is likely that we will give it another chance in the future.
Need to clean better
Management needs to work on attitude, vernacular, and make sure the employees are doing a better job tending to the rooms
P.S. If you find this piece helpful, please give it a thumbs up, and I will know it is helping out the community and making...
Read moreMy wife booked a room here for our first anniversary for the day. When we got the confirmation our check in time was not listed in the morning but at 3. So my wife called to confirm that we could check in the morning. Someone at the front desk confirmed that we could check in in the morning. We had a babysitter lined up and had been excited about this for some time as both my wife and I have busy stressful professions and a new baby. Calling again to confirm my wife was told they don't do day stays and we could check in at 3. Latter they told us we needed to stay up till midnight to see if they would have a room for the day because they were booked both nights and therefore booked during the day of our stay. The manager Tish Guel refused to find us another room because they weren't overbooked. Despite not having a room for us, with our day stay receipt and previous confirmation from the front desk. This was not overbooked according Ms. Guel. Essentially she denied the email receipt was directly looking at.
The moral of the story is make sure everything about your stay here is in writing. If you have a conversation with staff at the front desk notate who you are talking to, and preferably the date and time. As they will not provide you the customer service you would expect unless you have specific documentation to show them. And then I wouldn't be overly confident either.
It seems a beautiful location and I have previously only had good experiences with Hilton and frankly Hotels in general. Given my previous experiences and my knowledge that they could have tried to resolve their mistake, I am...
Read moreThe hotel is in the great location. There's an outdoor shopping area just outside its door with tons of restaurants and specialty shops and even a Von Maur. The hotel staff was very friendly. They gave us everything we asked for including an extra late checkout time. They were very accommodating to me as I am disabled in a wheelchair. We had a one-bedroom suite of the room was needing clean. The sheets were soft. The kitchenette had everything we needed. There was a two burner stove, top pots and pans and dishes. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher and even a toaster. The bedroom had two beds. They were very small. I'm not sure if they were queen or full sized. My biggest complaint was it was meant to be a handicapped suite and it was very tight. When you first go in the front door the kitchen was on the left and the kitchen table is stuck out from the wall and just next to it started the living room and there was a big armchair there next to the couch with the armchair there. There was no room for me to maneuver my wheelchair through to the living room or bedroom. We had to sort of move around the furniture while we were in there. And even then it was still very tight. Although the bathroom was very big in accommodating, it even included a removable shower chair which worked out great for me. The pillows were very soft and there was no other option available. So unfortunately I had to send my husband to the store to get me a former pillow. Other than that I think it was a great stay and I would recommend someone else...
