When we walked into the restaurant the sign says “Let us seat you”. It was 5:50pm. The hostess (whose body language says she clearly hates customers) says to us “We have reservations at 7:30 and have a full restauant at that time so we probably won’t be able to seat you.” No hello. No nothing. No do you have reservations? No greeting. Didn’t even look at her lil iPad or even ask us if we had reservations, which we did at 6pm. After educating her on that she says “oh”. Grabs four menus and starts walking. There were 7 people in the whole restaurant when we came in. After we sat, we ordered drinks. The server brought us a drink with a little fruit fly floating in it. Didn’t comp the drink or anything, just made a new one and apologized. So this drink passed the bartender AND the server before we, the customer, discovered the insect. At least the kitchen knows what they’re doing. We probably won’t be coming back to a place we...
Read moreUnique concept with the "Graze" option at $20/person. Prix fixe three course: #1 pretzel with fondue #2 Caesar salad, spring rolls and bruschetta #3 Chicken lips, short ribs and green beans The cheese fondue accompanying the pretzel nuggets were amazing. The pretzel nuggets were overly hot probably from a quick microwave zap. This is my second time having the Graze prix fixe with friends. Both times I find the second course trio a bit oddly matched. The spring rolls are very nicely done and close to ones you would get at a Dim Sum shop. The three dishes add up to a rather overwhelming oily and salty taste. The third course shines through the melt in your mouth short ribs that flake off the bone and the sichuan inspired sauteed green beans . All in the all, the Graze option is a great starter for someone...
Read moreI ordered the Graze Salad and asked for “grilled chicken” added to it. Nonetheless, the salad came out with fried chicken. I am celiac and cannot have gluten. This was a to go order so by the time I picked it up and noticed, I had already left the restaurant.
I wish the staff would have been a bit more caring when preparing the order. On top of that, the salad was extremely underwhelming. The fried chicken tasted like a vat of canola oil and they didn’t even ask what dressing I wanted. Just simply gave me honey mustard.
I will say, the two girls taking the order were so polite! But food comes over service so safe to say, I will NOT be...
