We use a pellet stove to heat our home, & unfortunately every store that typically has the 40lb bags of wood pellets in stock sold out very early in the season this year. Although we are using it less & less, we still definitely needed pellets to keep warm during the cool nights! After calling a bunch of Home Depotâs & Lowes in Massachusetts, New Hampshire & Maine, FINALLY I tried Tractor Supply Co. in Ipswich and they HAD THEM IN STOCK!!
I raced to the store, and arrived 2mins before they closed. Normally, most stores would already have their doors locked, or you would be met with an attitude as you walked in the door. NOT THE CASE HERE!! The staff were INCREDIBLY NICE! The person I spoke to on the phone initially was super nice & helpful, and when I arrived I couldnât have asked for a better experience. They made small talk, signed me up for their In store rewards program, rang me up, put the 10 bags of pellets into a cart for me & then packed each bag into the back of my car!
Even though this location is a little more than 30mins away from my house, they have a forever customer!!!
I didnât get to explore the store because of the time, but with just a quick scan they carry btwn 25-40 different styles & brands of work boots, both men & women, they have a great selection of clothing & some cute...

After the phone rang for what felt like forever, a female answered the phone by simply saying âyes what do you needâ. I asked if the store carried chicks, to which she responded âyes but donât ask me what kind I am too busy to tell you, goodbyeâ. I responded âhold on, I have additional questionsâ and she responded âwhat do you wantâ. I responded âis there a minimum quantityâ and she answered â6â and then abruptly hung up the phone.
What kind of service is this? I have never shopped at a tractor supply, and must tell you this is appalling as my first experience. Is this how tractor supply treats their customers? This employee, and your business, should be absolutely ashamed! I will never shop at a tractor supply as a result of this...

I called and talked with manager "TOM" and told me to call a separate company who make them so I did and it was an answering mashing with No name or info?
