Lake Murray — Attraction in Irmo

Grew up on Lake Murray... I've been on these waters for more than 26 years.. This place along with every other Rec. Lake in South Carolina have been turned into bowls of muddy water.. Everything has died in these lakes and it has messed alot more up in the long run... These vegitations that have been killed off has our fish more voulnaerable . 20 years ago the waterfowl hunting on lake Murray was fenominal compared to now....and every year it gets worse and worse..I keep personal logs on Lake Murrays waterfowl and vegitations. When summer come and even spring. This is the lake to be on. Can be very fun but remeber to to look for other boaters. This Lake is very congested on certain events and can be dangerous for small craft. Also the wind itself can be dangerous... Have fun and always be Safe DONT DRINK...
