Black River Falls is a series of 5 falls along the Black River which runs into Lake Superior. They each have their unique beauty and different levels of accessibility. We drove from one parking lot to the next and walked to the individual falls. Some walks are longer or have more stairs than others, so read the brochure or signs at the lots. To see all the falls in one day takes several hours. We choose 3 on each trip so we have time to enjoy the park and beach at the end. It is the third in a series of five dramatic drops on your way to Lake Superior. It's easily accessible, the trails are well maintained and well-marked.
