I’ve been coming to this Kohl’s on Jeffrey regularly because I like their products, especially during the holidays, but this branch has consistently been one of the most poorly managed stores I’ve experienced.
The Amazon return section is constantly being moved around, sometimes every few weeks, with only one small sign posted inside the store. There is no clear signage when you walk in, leaving customers confused. During a previous visit, the tall young manager (I believe his name is Javier) very aggressively told me that Amazon returns should be done at the cashier line and pointed out the small sign inside the checkout area. Remembering that, this time I walked straight into that line patiently, because that’s where I had been told to go before.
I arrived at 5:30 p.m. to return two items and ended up waiting almost a full hour. At first, only one employee was handling the line. When that person’s shift ended at 6:00 p.m., the line was left without anyone for about 5 minutes. Finally another employee came, but then I was told the return station had been moved yet again, and that I was in the wrong place. After following the manager’s prior instructions and waiting patiently, it was frustrating to be redirected.
What makes it worse is the lack of staffing and poor customer service. Employees look stressed and rushed, trying to handle long lines without breaks or support. Customers, myself included, are left waiting while management insists “the sign is there,” even though the setup keeps changing. On a busy Friday evening, there were at least 20 people in line, yet no adequate staffing or clear direction.
Compared to other Kohl’s locations, like the one in Tustin, this store is extremely disorganized and poorly managed. The only reason I’ve used this branch is for Amazon returns because of its proximity, but after repeated negative experiences, I no longer feel this location respects customers’ time...
Read moreRude and disrespectful Amazon return worker! If you offer to handle returns from Amazon, you need to know people come to RETURN stuffs! You don't have the right to judge people or gossip about it. Whoever returns Amazon products will not like to shop at your store if the customer service is terrible. I was going to shop at the store after returning my Amazon products and quickly decided to leave because I can't stand to listen to the worker to make comments on people. Worse experience ever! Update after 3 months. I decided to give this store another chance a month ago, and I almost change my review to 5 stars until today's return! I went back to return Amazon product a month ago, a worker asks me to bring all Amazon envelopes back that they can reuse for the return instead of using plastic bags! I was happy to see people care about the environment and I do recycling! I kept all my shipping envelopes for months and bring them back today when I do my Amazon return. Guess what? The worker works for Amazon return (2/25 at 9:30 am) department did not accept my recycling envelopes and repeated ”we only need your return product and code” two times with slight! I tried to tell him that's from a worker who told me last time, he muttered: ”they told you a lot things...”! They don't even support their own team!! What a shame work at Khols! I took all the envelopes back and for sure I'm not going back! I want to give 0 star if I can! I'm regret to give them...
Read moreI came here today for an Amazon return. I went to the usual return area in the corner of the store, but they said to follow the signs for "Amazon Drop-Off/Return." I suppose there was a new area and I guess I just didn't notice. Once I was got there, not a big line at all. Probably waited close to 5-7 minutes or around there. There was only one person working returns. He was a little slow. He would help someone and then instead of helping the next person immediately, he would take his time moving some things around or doing other tasks. I thought that was a little unprofessional, in my own opinion. Once I got the window, I could barely hear him, let alone understand him. It's like he was muttering. However, he took my item and scanned the barcode. Once he gave me a receipt, he just went back to doing the same thing. I always looked back and noticed the line was getting bigger and bigger. I don't seem to be a big fan of this type of service here. Looks like it needs some sort of improvement or at least customer-friendly people working that...
