Six Flags Hurricane Harbor New Jersey — Attraction in Jackson Township

BEWARE PARK HAS NO CAMERAS AS PER SECURITY STAFF! FULL OF THIEVES, GANGSTERS AND EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN! DANGEROUS ANY ONE GETS KILLED THERE NO ONE WOULD KNOW WHO DID IT! WORST PLACE FULL OF THIVES BE CAREFUL! I am a diamond pass holder as well as all my family. EVERY TIME we go there it’s a problem! First MOST DISGUSTING PEOPLE go there, they spit and pee in water , on the floor everywhere , throwing trash everywhere, aggressive to each other! No seats available even if you go early because SELFISH ones decide to hold all seats using their towels while not using the seats ( and I am talking about preferred areas for diamond pass holders not even public ones) ! TUBES , you’re in a water park and pay so much money for membership and you’re supposed to pay to rent tubes!! SERIOUSLY A WATER PARK YOU PAY TO GET IN AND THEN PAY TO RENT TUBES! We still didn’t mind all that as long as we mind our own business and try to avoid these problems and avoid nasty people there! But THIEVES! FOR GOD’S SAKE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A FAMILY PARK! 2 weeks ago they opened our own bag and stole our season cups , towels , and phone covers! When reporting to six flags corporate THEY DID NOTHING other than telling us to go buy others!! I’m talking about multiple incidents not a one day incident! Today, surprisingly my CROCS got stolen right in front of the wave pool! I was surprised to death! And had to walk rest of day barefoot! For real CROCS get stolen and we did report to security and filed a complaint to be told there’re no cameras in the park! This means If someone got killed they wouldn’t even know and it could happen when they allow aggressive people in! Everytime we go there I witness SOME aggressive African Americans none of the guards tell them to stop them! Today I am pretty sure my crocs were stolen by an African American girl who decided to sneeze on top of my shoulders in the lazy river not even apologizing or backing off except that she and her stupid friends started giving me their dirty bad angry look and when I felt disgusted she was looking at me in an very angry way gossiping behind me with her friends and of course no supervisor to complaint to! ( honestly I don’t understand why some African Americans are that freaking angry) I am pretty sure she stole my crocs, of course reporting to security giving us a report number is USELESS. I will speak to corporate again if my stuff are not returned I need to cancel my membership for myself and all my family PEOPLE BE AWARE! AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE , if you want to go MAKE SURE NEVER LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS ANYWHERE INCLUDING EVERYTYING!

UPDATE: we also just realized at yesterday’s visit , our sunglasses were also STOLEN! I have seen a guy with my own eyes at the lazy river who found eyeglasses in the water and instead of hading it to the guards , he told his friends proudly he found very nice glasses and they’re his now and he put them on! WHAT A DIRTY PEOPLE ALLOWED IN! It looks like they allow the dirtiest people in so they have all chances to steal all people belongings! WHAT A SHAME! I will definitely find every way to cancel what’s so faked called diamond pass unless this company start filtering who is allowed to the park! ALSO FOR CONSIDERATION , IT’S FREAKING UNFAIR FOR KIDS AND FOR OUR EYES TO SEE THOSE WOMEN WITH STRINGS! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! People as you see six flags reply to everyone who has a negative review that they will improve! FOR YEARS! THAT’S NOT TRUE! If I could give 0 stars I would. I don’t really write reviews and the only time I do is if they deserve it. I’ve came to six flags for over 10 years. I have never expected it to end up the way it is now. Today as a group of 4 we went to the water park. We arrived at 12pm Tickets were $100 per couple. Then we arrive and it’s $40 for general parking. When you get there they have metal detectors. But yet, there was a massive amount of people with weed pens. This is a family park, there are children walking around breathing in that stuff. Then we go to get on our first water slide, It’s about 12:20. We waited 1 hour 45 minutes for this slide mind you, all 4 of us. With people skipping and getting to the front of the tube line just grabbing the tube from people who were next and the workers doing nothing. Anyways, We finally get to the top ONLY for them to say us 4 people couldn’t go on together bc it passed the weight which is FINE bc it becomes a safety hazard. We were willing to separate. We told the girl working at the top we were willing to separate if we could just get another tube. She said we could either wait for a group of 2 people and go with strangers, or we could go back and wait the whole line again. We asked her if we could go down to get a tube and come right back up, and that we’ll wait the tube line AGAIn we won’t cut in front of anyone who already grabbed a tube. she said no, that it says down at the bottom the weight max for each tube. But there’s no scale or anyone pointing out the 6 INCH Part of the sign that says it. And even if, we’re not gonna think we have to sit there and do math to see if we could go together. They should have someone at the bottom with a scale saying to make sure we grab 2 tubes bc we won’t all be able to go on one. So unfortunately me and my husband didn’t get to go on with the people we came with. Or AT ALL. We ended up getting off the slide. Our friends ended up going bc they haven’t been here before so we told them to go that it was okay. So whatever we move on, we decided to all go to the lazy river. I remember when the lazy river was a LAZY RIVER. Not a walking river. The amount of people walking in the lazy river was so ridiculous, I’ve never seen such a thing. You pay all this money to get into the park and then have to PAY for the tubes. $10 for a single and $20 for a double. We weren’t gonna spend money on that too. So now we’re just agitated and hungry. So we decide to get food. $20 for chicken finger and fries. ONE ORDER There was different amount of chicken fingers in every tray and they just throw it up under the heater for anyone to grab. Some had 4 some had 5. And then we got the refill cup. $20 So it cost us $60 for lunch (just for 2 people) . And $100 to get in and $45 to park. That’s $205. only for us to STILL not do anything. We ended up leaving. We more the Likely won’t be back. There should also be some sort of dress code with bathing suits. I understand we’re in an era where not everyone cares to cover themselves But again there’s children and you should make sure women are covering their a** and not having it in little kids faces . Disgusting. I’m not cheap and don’t have a problem with paying for things, but when it’s not WORTH it. That’s where I have a problem, this trip was well not worth it It was way over packed. Dirty, expensive. They still make their money anyways bc people still go to try it out, so probably not much is gonna change.

Update 8/4 For those of you seeing responses from Six Flags for negative reviews that ask us to email them, please note it is only for the appearance that they're concerned about your experience. Youll notice below that after this review was written we received a response to reach out to their customer service email address which we immediately did with all our contact information, we explained in further detail what happened but be advised that this organization is only responding to these reviews publicly to appear as though they care about their customers, that should send alarm bells to upper management at Six Flags and if it doesn't than they're either not monitoring feedback or worse- they're aware this is all just for show.

it'll cost you about $200 for a family of 3 for basic parking and tickets and add another $150 for food and drinks. We arrived at 1030a when the park opened and the demand for resources immediately outpaced the supply and there weren't any seats in the whole park, so we opted to buy private seating but it was already completely reserved. Several slides were being repaired limiting the options the huge crowds had and making lines a 30 minute wait. Even getting floats for the lazy river was impossible and we just walked through it instead. $17 bucks for a slice of pizza, $6.50 for a water, youll eat really unhealthy food at an astronomical markup. It was a hot day, it's hard to even find seating in the shade- many people just leave their belongings on benches so you feel bad sitting anywhere and end up on the ground. I'm going to try to err on the side of being delicate about many of the staff we interacted with because I can imagine they may not always be treated very well but it's hard to drop nearly $400 bucks on a business when you don't have a single memory of an employee that looked like they were happy you were there. We threw in the towel after 3.5 hours, it was between $350 and $400 bucks. For management reading this- you should decrease the markup on your water, you need a lot more seating, if you have areas under construction you need a way to control crowds and lines because that creates a surplus on whatever else is working. Your reservation system is problematic, not sure how arriving at opening doesn't give someone an opportunity to find a seat for their family....
