Fantastic Play - "The game's afoot, Watson" in "Ripper". If you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes you've got to experience this quaint theater above the bookstore. The entire upper floor is decorated and dedicated as "all things - Sherlock Holmes", even Holmes and Dr. Watson's flat, 221B, in London. You've got to see it. I went Oct. 5th, 2018 to opening night and was treated with a play that asked, who done it? Of course Mrs. Hudson will greet you, take your ticket, seat you and introduce the production for that evening. Seating is very limited, coffee, tea, water and pastries are available at intermission. Seats are the fold-up kind with little padding (might want to bring a cushion) and stage is low (get the front row so you won't have to peer around someone's head). I must add that I'm not being partial to this production even though my best friend is one of the actresses. And, it just so happened that her birthday was also on Opening Night. This Company only performs Holmes plays, so if you're into "sleuthing" and enjoy a cozy, quaint, atmosphere - go to their website and get tickets right away. They sellout quick! Absolutely brilliant. I had an Earl Gray that was to die for. My wife had the Moroccan Madness. A black tea with I hint of mint. We had the whole afternoon in Sherlock Holmes' study by ourselves.
