Deville Camera & Video — Attraction in Jackson

I’ve been there once and it was a cute little store but when my sister and I walked in, we looked at the softboxes. An older gentlemen came over and offered us help. I asked if they had any small portable softboxes and his response was quite rash as if he was insulted that I didn’t know much about softboxes or lighting accessories.

It was so uncomfortable that my sister walked away because it seemed like I was getting scolded for my ignorance. After an awkward silence, he said to let him know if we had anymore questions. I was a bit taken back but then he stood there for a long minute as I was looking around, which had me on edge. It was like he was suspicious that I might steal something. Luckily, a customer needed assistance so he finally walked away.

He came back a moment later as we had begun looking at the ring lights. He was, at least, gentler this time but then stood again for watching us. We both have bad social anxiety and that was simply unpleasant. It’s clear he’s quite knowledgeable and passionate about photography but for hobbyists, his assistance was very intimidating and made it an uneasy...

I love Deville Camera & Video! The staff are great! I'm a beginning photographer, & I don't usually know exactly what I need. Sometimes I think I know what I need, but I'm wrong. They give me lots of advice & they know exactly what I need. They don't recommend the high-priced equipment just so they can make extra money. Many times, I have asked about some expensive equipment, & they tell me what I need, & their recommendations often cost much less than the things I thought I needed. They know exactly what works well with my camera & what would be the best equipment for my individual projects. Their prices are almost always lower than any of the online prices for the exact same brand-name equipment. They are happy to spend all the time I need, helping me get everything just right. My car was scratch up I told her who I seen the manager in the office told me she will look at the camera and she never got back with me . She didn’t step up talking until I told her I went to police. Every email I send to the staff in office they never respond.my son the music and it don’t be on the outside but the person who has a family member working here try’s to get us put out because she scared the manager when the manager gave her a letter about the stumping and beating.and now the manager come running for her saying my son can’t play his music but the music not on the outside. I hear there noise. First manager told me it was ok as long as it’s not on the outside now the tenant call her and she tell me else but when I call on them nothing said.
