Tried calling multiple times between 8:00 am and 8:30 am to order a box of joe, not once did anyone pick up the phone. Went to their shop to oreder there and wait until it was done. When I ordered the young lady paused then decided that you need to order the box of joe a day ahead of time. Now this doesn't make any sense, not only have I purchased this many times in the past but what possible value is there in a 24hr notice. I asked the young lady when they had changed to a 24hr notice she told me that she'd been working there for 5 years and it had always been that way. She restated the she was not going to make the coffee. I went to Panera Bread right down the road and got exactly what I wanted. I stopped by this bar in Jackson and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. I ordered a coffee and a slice of banana cake—both were excellent. The coffee was rich and comforting, and the banana cake was soft, moist, and full of flavor, the kind you remember long after.

When I visited, the bar was almost empty, which made the atmosphere calm, cozy, and perfect for a quiet break. It felt like my own little hideaway in the middle of the city.

This is a great, peaceful coffee shop. Easily accessible on a frontage road, I was surprised that this Cups location doesn’t stay packed. Most of the people who come in are professional/graduate students or young professionals looking for a quiet place to work, so the noise level stays low. The music isn’t overbearing, and don’t let me forget about the business itself: coffee! The coffee is tasty with Mississippi-roasted fresh beans.
