Great park to take the kids. They can ride their bikes, scooters, etc. on the path that surrounds the park. There's are plenty picnic tables and benches for the size of the park/ number of parking space. There's a lot of space for open play, picnics, flying kites, or drones.

There's a monkey bar, two swings (one for littles and big kids each), and a play set. The play set includes three slides, openings to climb or spiral down, tunnels, and space for them to place underneath (imaginative ice cream shop, etc.).

Both my two and eight year old have fun here doing their own thing, playing together, and/ or with other kids that are visiting. We sometimes walk along the sidewalk up to the drawbridge or watch from the side as it lifts for a boat to pass through.

Parking space is limited. You have to time your...

Great views of downtown Jacksonville and the St. Johns River. Also, it's a really good fishing spot. You can actually go underneath the Ortega Bridge to fish. There is plenty of room as well for multiple people to fish because there is this standing area underneath the bridge on both sides. I have caught some really nice size Red's at this spot. If you have never been there, I highly recommend going and just checking out everything around the bridge even if you aren't fishing it's just really cool how it's made and the access you have underneath the bridge on both sides. The park also has a boat dock if you decide you want to boat over to the park. It's just a really cool place, and it's a historic and iconic place in the...

First off, no bathrooms here! At least I didn't see any. If you got little ones be prepared. Park had trash, dirty clothes in several spots and weeds everywhere. Plenty of ant piles mixed in the weeds. I still give this park a 4 star review as it was a beautiful day. Playground was super fun for the kids, lots of activities for the little ones to see or do. Bring a soccer ball, frisbee, snacks and drinks with trash cans in convenient locatios. There are picnic tables, benches, water fountain for humans and pets, great views all around. The playground had a spot that was rusting out and needs to be addressed for repairs. I did add a picture of it to my review. Hope you...

We've been going to Stinson Park for 17 years now. When my kids were younger we'd go there and play for hours, watch the draw bridge go up and down, and watch the sun set over the marina. There is a nice walking path that circles the park, a fun playground for children, tables for picnics, a small field for ball games or tag and a dock for canoes and kayaks. People fish from the shore and the dock. There is a water fountain at the park but no restrooms. Now my kids are starting to have their own. Today we introduced my granddaughter to Stinson Park.
