I came here to meet someone and felt like I should buy something since I was waiting in one of their tables. When I walked up to the counter, there was no one to wait on me, and another customer who had arrived before me said "They should have a bell or something" (because she had been waiting to be noticed). Finally she saw someone in the kitchen, and called out to them. The young woman came walking to the counter drinking her giant drink and looked at me and the other woman (in front of me and closer to the register) and said "Which of you was first?" 😂 As she began waiting on the woman who was there first, another gentleman came out and took my order for a regular sized cup of coffee. "$3.11" he says and then hands me a cup sitting next to the register. The card reader then asks me if I want to leave a tip for saying the words "$3.11" and handing me a cup. So I chose a dollar (there was a $3 option 😂) and paid $4.11 for a 16 oz cup of coffee. I went to the area where the coffee was, poured my coffee, turned both empty creamer dispensers upside down and then settled on almond milk, which was the only option not empty. They did have honey which was unexpected and awesome, but the entirety of the "coffee condiment" options were almond milk, honey, splenda, sugar, and sweet'n low. I took one drink of the coffee and it tasted old and like someone had put a cigarette out in it. (not literally but it had a weird aftertaste that's the best I can describe it) I put the whole cup in the trash, sat down in a booth, and waited for the person I was meeting to arrive. Oh, also there was a fluorescent green photocopied notice taped to the counter reminding us to consume caffeine responsibly, probably in reference to the 2 recent deaths from the supercharged lemonades. 🙄 Definitely not a...
Read more6-9-2019 between 3-330pm. Girl at counter Alexius was rude and aggressive because I was asking her about consistency of frozen cold brew because every place has their own spin on it.. was it drinkable with average force through straw or was it like a frosty where you needed a spoon or Dyson like suction. She started demanding I look at the picture and when I was stunned and asked her to please stop being so rude and aggressive she started ignoring me and just spoke to the person with me. I tried to start paying but she ignored me, then she asked the person with me if she had a Panera card, I chimed in that I did and she glared at me and ignored me. At that point I stepped back from the counter and the person with me had to pay. While I was there she told the person with me l, referring to me, that she deals with customers "like that" all day long. That person with me was MY MOM! So after being rude and aggressive with me, she insulted me to my mother right in front of me. And with Alexius saying that she deals with customers like this all day long, she was insulting all Panera customers at that location. As I was talking to the manager about what just happened, another guest walked up to me and the manager and explained that he goes there regularly and is always treated rudely by Alexius and it's out if the norm for Panera. The manager said he would talk to her. I would think after saying something like that with other guests reporting poor behavior she should have been fired on the spot. This Panera used to be nice, and I think my fellow customers have always been great, it was a great atmosphere. If Alexius says she has problems with these lovely customers all day long, I think the problem us with her. My advice is to avoid this location as we customers are not...
Read moreI always use the kiosk because it is faster and convenient for me. Usually the place is very good at our order. However, once in a while there would be incidents that lower my opinion of the place.
Things like the reading comprehension of the server/the receipt checker. I have dined there multiple time where the people checking the food does not really read what I ordered. I once order the soba noodle bowl and got the lentil quinoa instead. Especially in online orders where I emphasize that I want extra dressing in my salad. Sometime I just get the regular amount or worse none at all. Could had informed me that they ran out or something, but again they just didn't read/ignored it.
Some of the employee act questionable. I ordered a whole cake before with a meal and fortunately I checked inside the bag before leaving, because the cake was not there. I had to go ask the checker where was it and they said to just go take one from off the display table. So you did not check it properly or did not bother telling me where I can find it even when you saw me come in to get the food? Another time, my friend got a pastry and the duration while dining there we did not see it. After we finished the rest of our meal we asked the cashier and said our server did not bring it because they were out of it. Ok, but that server did not think to tell us, the customers that already paid for it, that they ran out or offer to refund...
