The Limelight of Jacksonville — Attraction in Jacksonville

In preparation for the Breaking Benjamin concert and based off of a few reviews from friends... I would like to offer my assistance in helping manage your venue. I can only offer some advice in hopes that it may help. Hire a security manager and team, front house and back house manager to deal with sales and supplies, add in 4 additional bartenders and 2 runners. The front and back managers need to handle all your issues for you. The woman screaming at the event may need help with managing the location. I wish yo the best with these suggestions. They will take a load off of the staff by spreading the responsibility = More Drinks Sold...remember, that is what will make or break a venue. Keep smiling and know you can do it. Peace!

Update: went to the concert and you guys are definitely getting better. For that I thank you. My family and I had a great time and the show was amazing. BB was weird and amazing but overall a successful show I think. Your crew (servers) were on their game. Lady out front was interesting and a little chaotic but works for now. Again, thank you for the improvements. Places in Jacksonville usually go down hill after a half year. So many businesses think the military is gonna carry them, but as a business owner here, and only from my perspective (take it for what it’s worth) you have to provide what most of us know is “actual good customer service “. So always imagine you are the customers and ask…do I like what’s going on? Is this the status quo? How can I do better for my fellow humans? Again, thank you for the show. Look forward to...

Review for 7/2022 Jon Langston concert Overall Venue experience- We got in right away, no line on the VIP entrance. We only had to wait at the VIP bar longer periods a few times, (mainly due to guys talking to the 1 bartender working the VIP bar (& it was after they had their drinks & had paid.) We also just stuck to ordering beer bc last time we went my friend ordered mixed drinks & they were completely wrong. (I'm a certified bartender thru ALE.) So thats why we stuck to beer, other than the Crown Royal Langston poured in our cups. We were front row up against the stage. I love being that close at this venue. The venue is smaller so it's a great place for live shows. They're more intimate I guess you could say. Really not a bad seat in the house. Sound is always great. Lighting is great but not overpowering. Usually the people are friendly that are there for concerts. The Security staff is always great & nice. They joke around with you. Theyre not jerks like alot are other places. They were cool. It was a great show at The Limelight as always. I do think the bartenders need to come in during the day & be given a class on proper mixed drinks & about hustling behind the bar & being blunt with people who are chatting them up such as- "Hold that thought I've got to grab my customers". But other than that... The Limelight is a great venue for live concerts & music. We travel to The Limelight for live shows. All in all it's a wonderful venue that we will continue to frequent for live shows especially with the new owners...

I don't know what type of club this is, but if the bartender's work for tips. I don't recommend tipping them . Or it might be a strip club who knows. Website says it could be anything. All I know is I took a delivery all the way from western boulevard to this place and the people, when you walk in signed for the person and had the three dollars cash difference for what they couldn't pay for the card , No tip. So clearly they don't appreciate people coming from a long way to bring them food. So I would not tip them if they made your drink or anything else . I'm a tipped employee and a single parent Who moved to the state with my children from south carolina , we were the victims of domestic violence And on the opposite end of the expected view of it , Was being used for papers, and when I found out about the infidelity because my children told on her she beat my children . But of course they didn't know this. And they didn't care about this and that I was a single parent , we all got our problems right? But these people work for tips and I jumped on the highway to bring it to their run down redlight district. Don't tip them . I'm taking care of my children.
