It was ok. The Building is beuatiful and the grounds are nice to. Also it is located near the hundred acre lot and an area of local folk lore called uncle Bob's. The whole area contains miles of trail that take you into falconer park and there are a couple swimming holes along the way. As for the rtpi. It didn't seem like there was much to do or learn. Also I could do with out seeing all the dead birds. And paintings of dead birds( what the heck is that all about). Read moreWe came here after the building was closed, just to try the walking trails. We were visiting from Virginia on the weekend before the big solar eclipse. The trails were fair. We did not encounter much in the way of birds. The trails were a bit muddy, so we stuck to one or two main pathways. One trail ended abruptly on a local street so we turned back. We ended up walking part of the way back on Curtis St to avoid some of the mud. Overall we would not recommend coming here just for the hiking.
