I loved my time at SUNY JCC during my 3 year tenure. I originally enrolled on the Olean campus with an Individual Studies degree. however, I did not enjoy that campus and I wanted something bigger and better for myself. During my spring break that year, I toured the campus and fell in love. I changed my degree to Media Arts and August that year I moved to the dorms. My roommates were not the best to at the least but I had amazing professors and the classes actually taught me life skills. My last year I moved to the West building and got a whole set of new roommates and we became best friends. I loved being able to walk only 5 mins to my classes each morning and the Artworks department was amazing. I loved on weekends it was always open and I always was able to get my graphic design or video projects done without stressing. The people you meet and the professors were just amazing. They always carried for you and if you had trouble, they were always there. I also attended a study abroad trip that summer to Japan and I had a Wonderfull time! I graduated last May with my degree and now I am interning at a local business in my hometown! People might give JCC a bad rep but, I loved the school. How small it was and the...
Read moreI received two A.S. Degrees from JCC over a three year period: One in Computer Science, and the other in Engineering Science, and 90 credit hours there.

And by the way, it was JCC who taught me the foundations of what I know, but in fact, their emphasis on creating personal learning experiences that help you go in the direction your heart leads was most beneficial - all while providing an outstanding student experience...
Read moreMy daughter started going to JCC towards a degree in Biology in August 2018, we were so impressed by the amount of knowledgeable people there in every single department ready and willing to help your student. I have to give major kudos to Ellen Lenning, she has gone above and beyond for my daughter spending the time it takes getting her in the right courses for her degree and always doing it with a smile. You can truly tell she loves her job, we LOVE ELLEN!! The only thing we wished (and maybe we don't know It's available) is if school is cancelled teachers should give more than 1 hour for students traveling from Warren. Some students get up really early in order to get there on time and by the time they get the message school or class has been cancelled due to inclinate weather the students are...
