Kinley's Kottage — Attraction in Jena

Oh my goodness!! This was the cutest little venue in the middle of nowhere!! My sister in laws baby shower was held here and I couldn't think of a better place for an event like that!!! It's small but totally accommodated our groups needs and did I mention it's so super adorable?!? Plus there's many places outside for photos, a nice large back patio and additional little area that would be perfect for any size wedding since there's plenty of room outside. Also I full kitchen so you can prepare there and not have to go back and forth from another location. I did not pay for the venue so I cannot speak on price, but there were employees there who seemed to really be dedicated to their patrons needs! I would definitely recommend it for...

The place was not clean when we got there, there was hair and dirt all over the floor that got all over our balloon arch.There were cobwebs all in the ceiling. We were told if we cleaned after (which we did better than it was when we got there ) we would get our deposit back only to be told afterward it's not refundable. There was a gas leak that made it almost impossible to sit inside! Also there was a stray dog jumping on all the guest and barking at them as they tried to come in. Everything she said when we met to look at the place and book she went back on!! I will never use this place again! Absolutely...

For the price it's really small. 4 bridesmaids and a bride were expected to get ready in a tiny room. The groomsmen had to dress in the bathroom. It is very cute and country chic but so small. I had to do alot or rearranging to get to fit right. The woods around the edge of the property are a bit unkempt which idk if that is the owners property or not but even if it's not and it affects your business I would clean it up some. If you rent this place may I suggest 1 or 2 bridesmaids only or come prepared ahead of time. Again it it truly adorable. Just to small for a large...
