Nettles Island Marina — Attraction in Jensen Beach

The marina was practicly destroyed by hurricane Irma. Several boats damaged. Open to Southerly winds, it gets really choppy. Haven't been there since rebuilding. Hopefully they added more protection. Boat docked in this marina since March 2021. Thomas, the dock master is a true professional and very accommodating and helpful. Amenities include, a fabulous restaurant, new hair salon, dog grooming,, new massage business, womenswear shop, and fully stocked grocery store/deli. Wonderful people and safe environment....

Lots of friendly people, gated community, easy access to general store plus a couple restaurants. Pretty convenient.

Downsides: some of the slips are very difficult to get in and out of when it's crowded (winter season) and there's no protection from a south wind, so it can get pretty uncomfortable under certain...
