The staff are helpful & friendly, they usually have multiple exhibits that are laid out well, and my GF was pleasantly surprised by how much she enjoyed it (especially after making her walk in the cold and uncomfortable shoes :-). They often hold talks & presentations. They always seem to be interesting, informative or relevant to current events & local culture. I have enjoyed several and found them to be deserving of much more attention than they seem to get in the community. We once came to the museum for a talk about WW I and learned about Sargent Stubby, the only dog to achieve the rank of Sargent in the army for his service. Kind of neat and there was an animated movie about him too. Before our visit we went to the Culp Center for a dinner meal. I was surprised at the variety of meal choices including Vegan options.
