My toddler loves this park. Starting with the large playground with different features for kids of all ages, this is a sure fire hit if your children enjoy play equipment. The splash pad is excellent as well. Not overly busy on a 98 degree day. The water is very cold, be prepared. My toddler loved the water table. Plenty of seating (even in the shade!) and space for picnics. The beach is also very nice with clean water. Parking was simple. Clean environment. Overall, a wonderful family experience.

Lovely park with a decent sized playground. There are lots of places to sit, including benches, picnic tables, and a gazebo. You can rent the covered outdoor event spaces that have charcoal grills available. Splashpad is nice on hot days. Beach is ok, kinda swampy, but the city tries to make the swimming area clear of weeds, etc. Cool waterfall with seating. Overall, it's a beautiful park to chill with friends and family.

Great park! Actually pretty clean which is impressive. A lot of places for the kids to play (the playground looks like new), plenty of walking room and plenty of open field for games or what have you. Restrooms available and even the porta potty is clean! Overall looks like a great park for family or even alone time. Glad to see places like this actually being taken care of.

I've got a lot of nostalgia for this place, since I spent much of my childhood there playing in the park, tubing down the creek, and fishing in the pond.

The old mill base is still there at the top of the falls, and the falls are always nice to look at. For better or worse, they've banned swimming at the top of the falls, probably because several people have been hurt up there. But that used to be a thing when I was a kid.

They have several picnic shelters that you can reserve. They've got a newer playset. They've put in a swimming area in the pond. I've never been in there, but I've seen people swimming in it when it's hot, so it can't be that bad.

If I have anything bad to say about it, it's that the restrooms are pretty gross. But they're public restrooms at a public park, so it's about what you might expect them...

Lagoon Park – A Quaint Slice of Nature with a Side of Crowd Control

We stumbled into Lagoon Park hoping for a quiet moment by the water — and while we almost found it, the beach-goers across the street had other plans. It’s a cozy spot with undeniable charm, and if you catch it at the right time, it could be wonderfully romantic.

The small size makes it feel intimate, but also means it fills up fast. Across the water, a crowd gathered at the falls, fishing and lingering in tight formation — anchovy-style, if you will. It was... a vibe.

Still, for all the bustle, there’s a sweetness to the setting. My boyfriend and I likely won’t return, but I’m glad we visited. Not every peaceful place has to be empty — sometimes a little chaos adds...

This is the worst park to reserve for to 2 years we reserved it and both years some people were in our spots we had prove of our reservation and they didn't the first we let it be because they had over 20 people and decorations we called the police and they said they could ask them to leave but we let it slide and the park never gave us our money back.Since the park owed us money we reserved it again but this we went early to put decorations to let people know it was reserved we went home and again people were in our spot even though we had put decorations and put a sign up.So the reservation process has to improve and in a situation like this who can help you on a...
