There is a home depot drop yard literally across the street. Walked over on a sunday.. the museum unfortunately was closed but did take some time to check out the static displays. Had several aircraft on display. A kc-135 stratotanker, F-105 Thunderchief, B-47 Canberra and an F-4 Phantom with the markings of Pilot from Vietnam who downed a MIG. They also had an M-60 and M-1 tanks, several Helo's, cobra gunship, a huey troop transport, a cargo one and a bell Jet ranger (don't remember the military designations) Lots of other equipment some of them WW2 vintage. Was really neat. Wished the museum had been open. Took some snap shots with my Holy Grail Rabbit I bought at Meridian Underground Music out of Meridian Mississippi

Heard about this museum on MASH Matters podcast. As a huge MASH fan drove the 3 hours from Omaha to come see their swamp setup. It was truly amazing experience and everyone was so nice their. Let one of the people at front know about the shout-out on podcast. The museum itself is extremely nice and great selection of military items. Was there for probably hour plus. Son loved the gas masks and all the large displays plus second building with more military vehicles was great. Would love to come back again in warmer weather. Cannot recommend this enough and for any MASH fans it's a bucket list stop with the real Swamp locked away in the Smithsonian. 5 stars

FREE! This museum is a MUST SEE if you’re in the surrounding area. I can’t believe it’s free. It tells the story of the Kansas National Guard through countless exhibits and artifacts. You can spend the whole day here having fun. Great place for a date with your lover, for history geeks, or the whole fam. I enjoyed flying the plane simulator, trying on military gear, seeing war trophies from WWII, and of course, walking around outside to see planes, helicopters, and Army vehicles.

The grass is so green, always cut and clean and very spacey, great place to let my two dogs run around some and explore new territory without worrying about too much traffic around. Also being here makes me feel so safe and secure and strong, I feel our soldiers have fought for us to be able to feel this way and that makes me proud of our army and proud to be an American! I'd like to express my deepest gratitude and thanks to all of our heroes who paved the way for the future, for all of our future generations of Americans who risked there lives for all of us, who had to be away from there families, who worked so hard and never gave up, for us! Who are still today protecting us and fighting for us, God Bless our true...
