A somewhat discreet spot on the coast of Kennebunkport, this short strip of rocky shoreline puts on a pretty spectacular show at high tide. The waves crash against the rocks and shoot up into the air, showering the surrounding area in an ocean spray and creating a cacophony of noise that can easily hypnotize you. If you’re looking for a place where the ocean will occupy all of your senses without leaving the shore, this is the place. The surrounding area has a plethora of huge, beautiful homes. If you look out across the cove you’ll even have a great view of the Bushes’ estate. Make sure to be cautious and watch your step when going out on the rocks. With ocean spray covering the rocks, they can be slippery, and a fall into the water could very well be fatal with the waves crashing against the rocks and no easy way to get out of the water. As long as you’re careful, this is a superb place to come and admire the power of the ocean.

It's a part of the coastline of Kennebunkport. It's scenic, but, it doesn't stand out from the rest of the coastline. There are a few small trails that lead to the rocks. I didn't hear a cave blowing, but, I did hear 🙉 an airplane ✈️ flying overhead. There is a small parking 🅿️ area that has a time limit of fifteen minutes. There is a black anchor ⚓ dedicated to former president George HW Bush. This is one end 🔚 of Parson's Way.

My main point for visiting was to experience the "blowing rock". We arrived an hour before high tide and stayed til an hour after, never once witnessed anything, although you could hear a bit of a gurgling sound in the cave. I was rather let down, as I thought that the event happened at every high tide, but perhaps not. That being said, the view is spectacular.

We drove by here playing tourist to gawk at the Bush Compound, amazed to discover a parking area with room for about six to seven vehicles. We were unaware that there was a park here. There was nothing to see at the compound worth driving there for; it was much smaller than one would expect for a "compound." But surprisingly (for us) you could see it all, since the house is so close to the public road. It's certainly a beautiful place to live. Since there was parking available, we lingered, and enjoyed the waves, still not realizing their significance. Unfortunately for the "park," its location near the Bush Compound necessities a parking time restriction, and there's not really any place to "do" anything you'd normally expect to be able to do in/at a "park." Basically, all you can do is stand in or near the path beside the parked cars. So drive by, stop for a few minutes if the tide is coming in (or not), and enjoy. We were there about mid-day, but suspect that at sunrise, on a clear day, with the tide coming in, it would be...
