Lake Meridian — Attraction in Kent

parking is the worst. the parking spots are assigned and you are charged a monthly fee. random people will and do park in any spot that they find unoccupied. when you notify said random person that they are indeed in your parking spot, they tend to get indignant and combative because you want your parking spot back. the tenants have a "tow" card for a local towing company but by time you call them, give them the required information, the parking violator has cursed you out and have been long gone by time the tow truck has arrived. also, get used to not being able to have visitors because there's scarcely any visitor/guest parking. as a current tenant, parking over here is tedious and stressful. you just never know if your parking spot is going to be available once you return home. I'm giving 2 stars because i think the city needs to offer some kind of security. I personally saw a kid drown here, and there was no safety patrol on site. There were multiple drownings at this lake and nothing changed since then. There were multiple shootings here as well, the most recent one on July 4th that killed one person and injured another. Thanks for keeping the grass nicely trimmed, but please take responsibility for the safety...

Nice playground and beach for kids, it's well taken care of and maintained. It can get really busy and run out of parking during peak times.
