We've come to this park a couple of times with our dog. Seeing how the sign says dog friendly, we thought this would be a good place to walk around. They have a fishing dock, place to swim, a place for boat launching, a round about walk way, not so clean picnic area with cover and the playground. Unfortunately I had a bad experience here that has left me annoyed with the lifeguards on two different days. First time we were walking around the dock and the lifeguards said nothing. They smiled at my dog and said hi. We passed by another man and his dog on the dock. Thought it was alright since no one was saying anything. My dog enjoyed looking out at the water. That's all she was doing. Second time we come back on a different day, we get yelled at that no dogs are allowed on the dock or the beach. When I told the guy that the other day no lifeguards had stopped me or talked to me, he just kept repeating himself. He was certainly nice about it, but I was already annoyed that there is no signs anywhere about dogs on the docks. Not even the big sign upon entering says this. Nada. Make some freaken signs! So this place is dog friendly to a degree. I swear if the next time I come here and the lifeguards don't stop a guy and his dog from walking on the dock, I'll be mad. Besides that the park is kept clean for the most part however there was an arson back in June to the public restrooms so there are temp bathrooms near the picnic area and there are a few questionable people walking around. They have a right to be there, just very shady is all. For the few times we've come here, parking hasn't been a problem. Great place for activities since they have a big field but be careful where you step. Lots of duck poop. It's a decent park to enjoy a good...

Lake Meridian Park in Kent provided me with an absolutely amazing experience, and I'm excited to share my 5-star review for this wonderful destination. Whether you're seeking a serene place for a leisurely walk or a picturesque spot for photography, this park has it all.

One of the standout features of Lake Meridian Park is its suitability for leisurely walks. Whether you're strolling solo, with a friend, or accompanied by your furry companion, the walking paths are perfect for everyone. The park's well-maintained trails and tranquil surroundings create an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and exercise.

A highlight of my visit to this park was the incredibly friendly ducks that grace the shores of the lake. Their presence added a charming touch to the overall scenery, and I couldn't help but smile at their quacking and graceful swims in the lake. It's a unique and heartwarming feature that sets Lake Meridian Park apart.

The park's natural beauty is a dream come true for photography enthusiasts. With the lake as a backdrop, the lush greenery, and the wildlife, it offers a wealth of photo opportunities. Whether you're capturing the serene reflection of the lake, the ducks in their element, or the changing colors of the seasons, Lake Meridian Park is a photographer's paradise.

In conclusion, Lake Meridian Park in Kent is a five-star destination that beautifully blends nature, tranquility, and photo opportunities. It's a place that offers a delightful escape from the daily hustle and bustle, making it a must-visit for those seeking a serene and visually captivating experience. I look forward to returning to this picturesque park to soak in its natural...

This park is awesome and it’s on- you guessed it-a beautiful lake! We took our Grandchildren there to fish. The man and his family next to us caught 6 perch. Unfortunately the babes didn’t get any this time. There are docks for your water crafts, I saw many people on paddle boards. People were swimming. There are covered areas you can rent out for your outdoor parties on the City website. There are all kinds of places to walk your dogs too. There is a sandy public beach area to hang out on as well as some large outdoor green spaces. Hang out on the docks, fish, or just take in some fresh outdoor air or swim in the roped off area. There are even some benches on the docks to sit on. The kids play park is updated with the new turf that’s bouncy in case the children fall down and they have a big ship climbing play structure and swings. Th bathrooms are clean and fresh and well taken care of. The lake allows motorized boats and jet skis. There is wake limits in certain areas and speed limits. This is a great place to go! Check it out...

We hit this little beach in the early morning to beat the crowd with our 5 kids and the park management was already out cleaning up what was left from people the evening before which is always a welcomed site. Parking was very available but mostly because we were there very early I'm sure. The water we went in on was perfectly cornered off and shallow for the littles while my bigs were able to easily walk over to the dock and throw in their poles. The only disappointment I have is with the other beachgoers. My kids spent a good amount of time grabbing out chunks of styrofoam and broken pieces of inflatables and broken toys in and out of the water in the small section of beach we were at. There were garbage cans every 6 feet or so which leaves no room for excuses for that much trash. We would definitely come back with hopes that other beachgoers and boaters are more responsible for others and our wildlife.
