Lake Meridian Park Beach — Attraction in Kent

Good amount of parking for cars, about 12 boat w\boat trailer spots (near boat ramp). Lots of grass space boarded by trees, with a few picnic tables here and there. There's 1 medium sized covered picnic\sitting area near the playground. The playground is a good size, about 20-30 kids (total) could play at once. The water is clear with small waves, it has sand\small rocks as its floor. The bathroom is maybe a 1 min walk from the playground. No trails but still can get a good walk. Dog friendly (no matter how well your dog is trained, leave em on a leash). There's a dock about 40-50ft long out...

This is not a safe place to bring your family, I recommend doing what my family did and driving ten minutes out of your way to visit Lake Wilderness instead as it is safer. When I visited with my family, there was a man swinging a machete around, chopping at tables and trees, and threatening people with it. The "sandy" beach is very rocky and had glass all over it. Has a sandy beach. The water in the swimming area was clear and clean. It was roped off into 3 sections. Shallow for little kids and non and novice swimmers. Deep for older more experienced swimmers and even deeper for lap swimming with 2 life hair towers. Lots of ducks around. Clean restrooms. Great place for kids. Probably not so great under non...
