Kiel Public Library — Attraction in Kiel

The Kiel Public Library is The BEST!!! Pre COVID19, they had an astounding kids program with Story Time, Toddler Time, craft nights, Lego nights, etc. That has been paused temporarily but they have ordered new toys and supplies for when those programs get put back in place. They are continuing the summer reading program but digitally this year as well as take home activity bags every week. My kids are loving the new activities and craft projects. The library is also doing curbside pickup if you'd like to order your books ahead. Don't know what to order? That's ok too! We asked the youth department to grab 20 random books for our girls and they put together a collection for us...

Staff are always so helpful and it's so nice to be able to have a place to go that is quiet and calm, where there are no expectations that you will be spending money or having to do any work.
