Title: A Scrumptious Duo: Refreshing Garden Salad and Creamy Mushroom SoupReview:
As a big fan of healthy yet flavorful meals, I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a garden salad and a bowl of homemade cream of mushroom soup. The experience left me immensely satisfied, both in terms of taste and quality.
Let's start with the garden salad, which was an absolute delight. The combination of fresh greens, vibrant cherry tomatoes, crisp cucumber slices, and thinly sliced red onions created a visually appealing and colorful dish. The vegetables were undoubtedly fresh and had a pleasant crunch to them, showcasing their quality. Tossed in a tangy vinaigrette dressing, the salad had a refreshing zest that perfectly complemented the natural flavors of the vegetables. It was a light yet fulfilling start to the meal.
Now, onto the star of the show – the cream of mushroom soup. This homemade creation had a velvety texture that instantly won me over. Each spoonful was a comforting blend of earthy mushrooms and a rich, creamy base that hugged my taste buds. The soup had just the right amount of thickness, allowing it to coat the spoon effortlessly. The aroma of sautéed mushrooms wafted through the air, igniting my appetite even before taking the first sip. The mushrooms were tender and abundant, providing a lovely contrast to the smoothness of the creamy broth. It was evident that this soup was crafted with care, as every mouthful delivered a burst of satisfying flavors.
One aspect that truly impressed me about both the salad and the soup was the use of homemade ingredients. The attention to detail and the effort put into creating these dishes were evident. The freshness and quality of the ingredients shone through in every bite, elevating the overall dining experience.
In terms of presentation, both the garden salad and cream of mushroom soup were beautifully plated, enhancing the visual appeal of the dishes. The colors and textures were thoughtfully arranged, reflecting the care taken in their preparation.
To conclude, my experience with the garden salad and cream of mushroom soup was a delightful one. The freshness of the salad ingredients and the creamy indulgence of the soup made for a well-balanced, satisfying meal. Whether you're looking for a light starter or a comforting main course, I highly recommend trying this scrumptious duo. It's a culinary treat that will please both your taste buds...
Read moreWe love coming here, especially for breakfast. Nice “diner” feel, rotating specials. They have a back room for additional seating if you have larger groups.
I believe our regular server’s name is Ashley and she is super attentive, always ensuring we have what we need. She has the greatest attitude with customers and I always am estatic when she is our server (other servers are great as too! I feel like we are Ashley’s regulars though when we come in ❤️)
The price of the food is great for the portion sizes as well. I love their bacon eggs Benedict (rotating special, not always available ) and my partner enjoys the ribeye steak and eggs.
I will say, sometimes mistakes occasionally happen, as it does everywhere. The servers and owners are quick to ensure mistakes are fixed and we have always been pleased with how it’s handled.
Anyways. Go, enjoy, and tip your servers well!...
Read moreGood simple food you'd make at home! The creamy chicken rice soup was delicious. MY husband and I both had the chicken parm. They ran out of breading so it was just baked, which we didn't mind at all. Their sauce was good and the pasta was taste and cooked well. My only gripe is they used sliced cheese that wasn't even melted! I thought for sure it was an American cheese, but the waitress said they use sliced mozzarella! That was a big disappointment considering we are in Wisconsin I expected, and hoped for, a nice cheesey layer of Wisconsin mozzarella cheese!!! I think the cheese was weird and not good so I took it off, but to be honest, despite being disappointed about bad cheese I really did still enjoy my meal so if ever in Kiel again I...
