Had a ruined day saved thanks to Michelle in customer service! We went to another mountain in the area and it closed due to high winds. We wanted to salvage the day and still get a first lesson for my fiancee after traveling several hours, and Michelle was able to help us with a package rental deal that you would normally have to get at least 48 hours in advance when I called to ask if there was anything we could do. No other mountain was willing to help at all, and it really turned a bad day into a good one. I was very impressed with their willingness to help us even though we weren't season pass holders or anything like that.

The lesson was also great and my fiancee now loves snowboarding. She found the beginner's area to be very nice, and the instructor knew how to teach.

This was also my first time at Killington and the mountain was excellent. Very well maintained, a ton of trails and lifts open, we all had an excellent time and will definitely be going back! Definitely gets a bit crowded but it's not terrible, just follow proper trail etiquette to be safe. It's popular for a reason though...

Too many people and too high a price for lift tickets ($124 peak) for what you get. Price is a bit high but they cant move that many people. Wait times for their main gondola were about 30 minutes to 40 minutes; so you get 1 to 2 runs per hour for spending a total of $150 at their resort? Trails could also be much better for the terrain they have. I had to unstrap and walk on several blues because they were so flat. Trails were also very skinny for the high volume of people so you have 10 people around you at all times and need to keep your head on a swivel. Or you can fly but you have to cut through a thousand people which...

The good: snowmaking and grooming at Killington is unmatched. The nightlife nearby is fantastic.

The bad: Killington does a pretty terrible job at traffic management during big events or busy weekends. Unfortunately, most events and weekends fall into that category. Parking often requires a shuttle, and as of early winter 2018-19, shuttle stops were located very far from the lodge, requiring a long walk on icy access roads. The main lodge (Snowshed) didn't have this problem but the parking lots were...

Killington has incredible terrain ranging from beginner, to expert with awesome glades and terrain. With over 140 trails Skiing Killington never gets old and its well worth it to get a season pass, you will not be disappointed. I live minutes from Okemo but get a pass at Killington as I prefer skiing there.

Great mountain! Impossible to get bored with the innumerable trails and lifts. I’d recommend going between Monday-Thursday or the lift lines get pretty long. Food is pretty expensive, especially at the peak lodge, but it’s to be expected. Don’t forget to get a chocolate-covered waffle at the Waffle Shack!

As a professional skier from the east coast, this beast from the east is my favorite mountain. Amazing conditions all the time. The staff is great. The lift ticket prices cost a kidney but it’s all worth it. You’re paying off the stokes! I will be back again very soon!!
