Had a ruined day saved thanks to Michelle in customer service! We went to another mountain in the area and it closed due to high winds. We wanted to salvage the day and still get a first lesson for my fiancee after traveling several hours, and Michelle was able to help us with a package rental deal that you would normally have to get at least 48 hours in advance when I called to ask if there was anything we could do. No other mountain was willing to help at all, and it really turned a bad day into a good one. I was very impressed with their willingness to help us even though we weren't season pass holders or anything like that.
The lesson was also great and my fiancee now loves snowboarding. She found the beginner's area to be very nice, and the instructor knew how to teach.

Or you can fly but you have to cut through a thousand people which...

The bad: Killington does a pretty terrible job at traffic management during big events or busy weekends. Unfortunately, most events and weekends fall into that category. Parking often requires a shuttle, and as of early winter 2018-19, shuttle stops were located very far from the lodge, requiring a long walk on icy access roads. The main lodge (Snowshed) didn't have this problem but the parking lots were...
