I really enjoyed this museum and all the information about the cattle and horses that they cared for. This place offered history of the people, land, animals and the owners of King Ranch. I was told there is an actual ranch tour, but I only visited the museum and enjoyed learning about the history. I spent about 45 min looking at everything and reading the tags on pictures and displays. Read moreWe enjoyed this little piece of history alot. So much information through photos, HUGE PHOTOS, along the walls. Many things to look at and read. Nice little gift shop to look around in. There is a BEAUTIFUL banquet/event hall attached to this museum. I was in awe of the facility and dreaming of how a wedding all set up would look. Read moreHeavy rains flooded the ranch roads and prevented our ranch tour, so the museum was our fallback. Museum was very nice, but not real large...you can see everything in an hour or hour and a half. They have a 20 min video there that gives background and history, which is very useful. Be aware they do not permit photos of anything, or touching of the various objects such as the beautifully tooled saddles. The exhibits and the building itself are very well made.
