Take Flight Aerial Adventure Course — Attraction in Kittery

I went with my 14-year-old daughter and my seven-year-old son. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with them! This place is run really well with an amazing staff! We signed up for the zip line tour which includes six zip lines and three challenges included in there which include climbing up a ladder walking across a bridge that moved and walking across a tight rope. You are harnessed in for everything. We had two staff members with us the entire time which took around two hours. Their names were Chris and Annie. When we began, my 14-year-old daughter was really hesitant and frightened of going up the the ladder to get to the first platform which is around 40ft high. She’s very cautious and was scared of how high it looked. I tried to get her to do it but she just couldn’t build up the confidence. My 7 yr old went right up and Chris and him became best friends!! I went on the first zip line as my daughter watched from the ground and spoke to Annie. Whatever Annie said, her kind motivation and aura truly helped my daughter get confidence to climb up the ladder and go on the zip lines!! It was amazing and truly built all of our confidence up!! Chris caught us on each platform and was awesome also. Annie was there for my daughter the entire time! Such an incredible memory!!! Also have to give thanks to Quincy for taking awesome pictures and videos of us to remember forever! My husband couldn’t go so was so glad they were able to capture this special day. Thanks again for an amazing afternoon!!!! I highly recommend this place...

Took my nine year old onto the ropes course. We had a great time! I was surprised to find that I was terrified at first—I’m not afraid of heights. I was drawing bravery from my daughter’s boldness and enjoyment. And after a few minutes, I began to relax and ended up loving it!

I appreciated the helpful and attentive staff who prepared us for our climb. The safety equipment was easy to understand and use. I am 5’4” and was able to reach the cables easily, but it was a bit tricky at times to do my daughter’s cables for her. She is 50” tall but was not interested in doing her own cable/harness hookups. She wanted me to do them, which was sometimes a bit tricky because I’d have to reach over her and I’m not too tall. So do keep in mind that it would help to be a bit taller if you are going with someone who is small and/or cautious.

The course was nice and spacious, felt safe, and there were not many guests on at a time. Staff was watching closely at all times and corrected people who were not using equipment properly.

My daughter and I want to go again! I want to go up high, but my daughter wanted to stay on the first level. Even just staying on the first level (out of three) there was still plenty to do and explore. It’s not a course where you have to do certain things in a row. It’s more like an enormous play structure that is open-ended and has multiple options from each point. Tons of fun!...

From the moment I arrived at Take Flight Adventures, I was met with a friendly, welcoming greeting by Kayleen at check-in. Then, my AMAZING “Buddy", Maddi, came over to help me adjust my harness. She thoroughly explained the safety procedures and how to operate the equipment. Since I wasn't entirely confident about handling the equipment myself, Maddi graciously took care of it throughout the course! She ensured my safety every step of the way with a watchful eye and made sure I was comfortable traversing the challenges ahead.

As a 50+ petite, non-athletic woman, there were moments when I doubted my ability to complete certain challenges. Maddi’s unwavering support and encouragement gave me the confidence to push my physical limits. I couldn’t have completed the course without her—she’s truly a gem!

One of the great perks of Take Flight is their staff taking photos of guests during the course. George did a fantastic job capturing everyone in action, and the photos can be easily downloaded using a QR code. I’m thrilled to have these memorable pictures!(My first time at Take Flight Adventures a few years ago was just as awesome as the one I just took in Aug. 2024.)
