First and Main — Attraction in Knightdale

My husband and I recently had our dream wedding at First and Main, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From start to finish, the owner, Jenny, went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was nothing short of perfection.

First and foremost, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. The picturesque surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for our reception, creating an atmosphere of romance and elegance that our guests are still raving about. Whether it was the breathtaking views or the charming architecture, every detail of the venue contributed to the magic of our day. Her venue is very well thought out and is truly a one-stop-shop for any bride trying to stay on budget and still have all of the small details.

One of my favorite parts of the venue was the RV she has behind the venue for the bride and groom to take a private moment before the entrance. This was truly one of my favorite parts of the day, a place where the wedding party could enjoy appetizers and cheers to us being newlywed. Each and every detail of this venue was thought out, and Jenny took ample notes to execute our big day flawlessly.

Moreover, the level of professionalism and expertise exhibited by Jenny was truly exceptional. From our initial inquiry to the day of the wedding, she was attentive, responsive, and dedicated to making our vision a reality. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensured that every aspect of our event was executed flawlessly.

Additionally, we were blown away by the quality of the service and the culinary experience provided by the catering team. We used Prime BBQ in Knightdale, which came recommended by Jenny and has worked at this venue many times. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the meal was. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests, ensuring that everyone felt included and satisfied.

Last but certainly not least, we want to express our gratitude to our wedding photographer, Sarah White. Sarah did an incredible job capturing every moment of our special day. Her talent and creativity resulted in stunning photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. She was professional, personable, and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. We are beyond grateful for her dedication and the beautiful memories she has provided us with. Sweeter Life Ministries thoroughly enjoyed First and Main for our Holiday Extravaganza Dinner. It was a gorgeous venue that allowed us to have plenty of space. We kept the curtains closed for the first 45 minutes to allow ladies to have hour d'ouerves and visit vendor tables. Then we opened the curtains to reveal tables decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Using the curtains in that way was definitely a show stopper!

Christy and Angie we a blessing to us! They worked with us every step of the way and helped us to ensure a beautiful seamless evening. Christy even got creative to allow us exactly what we needed...and for that we are grateful!

We had a bit of a problem with the wireless microphone and speaker system, causing us to move to a wired mic that did not allow me to move or be seen by all the tables, but at least they could hear!

One thing that could use improvement is the lighting underneath the hanging greenery behind the bar area. We had 2 tables that were really in the dark. I did not see the venue at night so I didn't know how dark it would be for the diners at those 2 tables.

The physical space is charming and versatile, and Jenny knows it well, offering ideas on arranging the tables to keep the event flow smooth. My favorite part was seeing the place light up in the evening, adding a touch of decadence that made the night unforgettable. Supporting local businesses is a priority for our family, and I couldn't be more grateful to have a venue like this that serves our community for various events. Without a doubt, working with Jenny and her team to make my birthday celebration special will have me praising and recommending First and Main for a long time....
