Lakeshore Park Conservancy — Attraction in Knoxville

I would give this park five stars were the top parking lot repaved with new parking lines. The old ones are completely faded away. Also, there is no lighting on the pathway on the east side of the park next to the lake beyond the marshy area. This is particularly unsafe since it is not uncommon to see folks walking down there after dark. If they had the money to make all the upgrades and put in new multi-million facilities on the west side of the park, why is the east side of the park being so neglected with no really basic...

Great walk. Park has a good mix of open space and tree cover. It has a small portion by the river that is nice and a good view from the top of the hill. It's a decently big in general with playgrounds and fields, and you don't have to drive out of the city to get there. but ultimately it could be nicer and needs a little updating/maintenance.
