We stopped into this new coffee shop today and were so impressed! The coffee was delicious, the flavor options were awesome, and the space itself was well done. It’s such a great addition to the area, and we loved browsing all the little extras they had for sale inside too!
If we could make one tiny suggestion…we’d love to see some premade drink ideas on the menu! Having a few house creations with cute names and fun flavor combos would make it even easier (and more fun!) to order. When we lived in Seattle, we got spoiled by shops that had signature drinks. At Anchorhead I’d always get a “honey bunches of oats” & it was cold brew with burnt honey, cinnamon, maple, & oat milk. When we’ve spent time up north we had a “Fluffy Seagull” in Cape Cod with marshmallow fluff and peanut butter syrup! I love not having to use my brain to create a fun drink before I’ve had my coffee, haha!
We’re so excited to have this spot nearby and will definitely be back often! Thanks for giving us a...
Read moreMy Order: Hot Latte with the House Syrup, Iced Chai with oat milk, and a French Picnic Sandwich. This local coffee shop has been curated and designed to serve its community. The location is perfect for grabbing food and going to Lakeshore Park. The owners seem to have thought thoroughly about how to involve the local community of makers in Knoxville while also serving their immediate community with what it needs and is lacking. In talking to the owner, all off the food items are made in house in small batches with a HUGE plus that all of the syrups are also made in house (including the Chai concentrate...which is delicious). This is an added bonus for me, and it's a true sign of intentionality and care. Every time I have been in the shop, the staff has been kind, generous, and helpful. I have seen that if something is made wrong, they are quick to make it right. HIGHLY recommend! P.S. A great space with tables for a meeting...
Read moreThis place is so cute and coffee was good. I will say the service made me feel so awkward…. I brought my baby alone with me so I was already nervous to try a new place alone with my newborn. I walk in & it’s very hard to enter with a stroller I will say, but a nice customer helped me out. It was so quiet in there you could hear a pen drop and the staff just didn’t seem inviting I guess? The cashier was nice and one barista smiled at me, but there were 2 baristas that looked very unhappy to be there. It could’ve been an off day maybe? One barista as she was leaving from behind the counter looked down at me where I was waiting for my coffee and gave me the dirtiest look. Like I said maybe it was just an off morning ? But I’ve seen other reviews saying the same thing. I encourage people to try it out for themselves though! I may go back with friends to see if it was just me feeling a little too anxious and awkward to be...
