The Climbing Center has been an incredible place to cultivate my climbing skills and train for outdoor adventures. It’s not just a gym; it’s a welcoming community that makes every visit enjoyable and productive.
The staff here, particularly Mary and Mark, are phenomenal. Their friendliness and helpfulness create such a positive atmosphere, whether you’re a seasoned climber or just starting. They’re always ready to offer tips or simply chat about your climbing goals, which makes the gym feel like a second home.
The route setting is creative and stylish, offering challenges that push you in all the right ways. While the variety of holds could use a bit of an upgrade to keep things fresh and exciting, the quality of the current routes shows the passion and expertise of the setting team.

There's also been word of extending it to include a Junior League for middle schools, which I'm sure will be absolutely wonderful as well. If you're looking to climb in an amazing environment with a supportive community in Knoxville, this is the...

Due to COVID, they have online sign up for two hour time frames and allow 6 people in during those 2 hours. They have signs to wear masks and to wear them above the nose. They have sanitizer out, in case it's needed.
I have been climbing at TCC for 3 1/2 years. I feel like I became part of a family. I love climbing here because the employees are amazing. They change out the walls weekly, so there's always something new to try out. I've met many strong, kind, compassionate people while climbing here and I'm thankful those people are in my life. The atmosphere is relaxed with music playing. The prices are incredibly fair and the experience is fun. I...
