Amazing collection of works by America’s public sculptor. Beautiful space and terrifically designed. The sheer scale of some of the pieces (which are mostly busts used to make the sculptures that are featured throughout the country) is awe inspiring. It’s a small museum but free and most definitely worth a visit. There’s also a lovely sculpture garden as you enter that features some of his magnificent works. Plus they have the public art pass so you can continue exploring all around the region, as it directs you to other publicly featured art that you can visit for free. Highly recommend and if you’re in the market for some art, don’t miss their gift shop. Pricey but some amazing, smaller casts of some of MM Fredericks’ most...

Fredericks had a distinctive style and the character of his sculptures is very apparent when seeing so many in one place at the same time. There is also a reproduction of Fredericks's studio which I found fascinating. Finally, there are two galleries with temporary exhibitions of non-Fredericks work that change every few months. It's totally free so it's worth a visit if you're...
