Recently I've been training in the Rowland Heights Hills area Cycling.. And I came across a park called Gloria Heer Park along a well manicured clean residential neighborhood that had many steep streets. The park is very well maintained with clean restrooms with essentials..the park has a playground for the kids.. and though I was approached by an aggressive dog I managed to enjoy the park.. Now knowing that you are supposed to have a leash on your dogs,, I forgave the dog..the park has a baseball field, picnic tables and plenty of tree's that provide shade. The park has a landscape with a slope that is unusual but a beautiful look to it..Also a quiet and peaceful park to take walks or jus to get out for some fresh air.. I've made this park one of my rest stops while I'm strength training here in Rowland Heights for Cycling climbs up the San...
Read moreLimited in scope and size, it is used more as a doggy park. Dog leash laws are not being followed nor enforced. As the victim yelled for help, the owners, in confusion, hastily began approaching the scene. The victim ordered the owners, who had a leash in their hands, to put it around the dog. In doing so, the victim was able to walk away uninjured. The authorities were not notified nor was there a report made of the incident. The only loss was a broken...

However, I think the mulch that they have in the playground is just utterly disgusting. Too much trash gets embedded in there and you can't see it until it's too late. I think we need to go back to sand. It was to me it's safer for the kids. They get stuck by the little little twigs when they land off the swings. I'm surprised no one has said this because every time we go, one of those little sticks always gets impaled into their shoe into a sock. It's only a matter of time before someone's gravely injured with one of those little sticks. Sand was much better I thinkrubber mats might be...
