Just be aware of wild animals. Usually they're more afraid of humans than we are of them. A few years ago, I saw a very big coyote as I was about to enter this part of the park from Fullerton Road. Then a few years later, I think I saw the same coyote while mountain biking on top of one of the hills where a tower is located. First I saw a deer near the bushes that jumped quickly and darted off in front of me. A few minutes later, a huge coyote jumped out of the bushes also right before my eyes. It was so close I could touch it. Both of us were shocked and surprised to see each other, but the coyote seemed a lot more scared than I was. I took off the moment it saw me.
