I called rural king yesterday around 12:47 after seeing a dog house online that I was interested in. The woman who answered the phone said I might be able to help you if I had someone on the floor. I said I have the sku # could you look it up and give me the dimensions? She very rudely replied Iām only going to be able to see what you see online. I explained that at Loweās their description of products shows more. She reluctantly asked for the sku#. I gave it to her asking why sheās being so rude to me? She said Maāam Iām not being rude use to you. I asked again for dimensions⦠she said again rudely itās 30ā wide and weighs 43 lbs. I asked for the length, she continued to be rude so I asked for her name and she wouldnāt give it to me so I asked for the manager. Then āJonathonā got on the line and I conveyed that the woman was rude. He stated that she was patient with me. After saying he didnāt know who I was referring to because I was just transferred. He wouldnāt give me her name. Then I mentioned i was calling about a dog house and he said the description and then I heard the voice of the woman in background. So I knew he was lying. I understand businesses are short staffed and Iāll bet sheās the hardest working person there. But that is no reason to be rude to customers. I donāt think anyone deserves to be treated that way unless they are treating you poorly then in that situation they should just get a manager. I think the employees need training in how to communicate properly with customers if nothing else. Itās the holiday season and this interaction really upset me. Iām retired now but I was in charge of many employees, I had to put out āfiresā all day in my line of work and so many other things⦠I never treated someone the way I was treated and for no reason. Just wanted to report my disappointment with these two employees in hopes that they will reflect on their actions and try to do better and maybe rural king can consider some kind of training. Thank you for the opportunity to share...

Don't rely on your RK rewards acct to show that you purchased it where when serial number. None that matters. Without the receipt they will tell you it will be prorated. I purchased a battery there three months ago. I didn't see the sticker on it says 10/2024. Should have been pulled by 4/2025 IF I want believe the lead in charge. That same lead more or less implied that I didn't buy it there and when I said. Surprise when it showed up like I said. He was quiet then. Rude. Then after paying over 45 battery they wanted prorate it because well I didn't have receipt. Didn't matter they could see it all on computer. 35 they wanted. I brought it home. I have the receipt. Ā Ā Ā Read moreEDIT TO ADD: I removed one star from my rating because my friend just told me she was there today, a full 24 hrs later, and the same chick was still there dead. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because country roads provides affordable chicken feed. I'm leaving a negative review because of their chick area. I was very disappointed in what I saw there yesterday. Dead chicks, improper food provided (adult chicken pellet sized feed?? Probably why there was dead chicks they are starving to death), LOTS of pasty butt, and every single bin was marked incorrectly. I'm a poultry breeder and was really disappointed to see they were selling pea chicks as various chicken breeds. I mean, that's not even the right species let alone breed, come on!
Fun fact, if you want chicks next year you can get them from me with 100% assurance that I won't leave corpses in the brooder with your animals before selling them, and your chicks will also have a fair chance at life being given the correct feed. I even provide a serving of chick grit after 3 days old and guess what- i know what breed and species they are 100%... Never shipped,...
