The sculptures are scattered over a two mile area in the desert north of Borrego Springs. They are large and dramatic and fun to photograph. Had to deduct a star as I encountered two rattlesnakes I was not expecting, and one of them lunged at me! But it's the desert so maybe I should have expected them! A warning sign might be a good idea for little folks who might be prone to playing on the ground in the dirt near the sculptures. No admission fee and you can park in many places along the road to view individual sculptures and even drive up close to...

Beautiful sculptures around the town! You can roam around in ur car while taking pictures at most of the sculptures. Instead for the dragon you will have to park your car and walk a few feet. Highly recommended and worth for the drive! There aren’t too many options for food nearby and the restaurants aren’t open always. Like we had to struggle to get some food at 3pm, so make sure you don’t go outside...
