My initial thought after our time at Zion Canyon Hot Springs…. We will be back! My husband is an ultramarathon runner and we love a good hike. He had just completed 62 miles of trail running and we thought let’s try it out. Typically after running he is sore and it takes a while for the DOMS to leave his body. We had premier access (21+) passes and it did not disappoint! The numerous world springs pools with various minerals to help with sore/acheing mucsles and relaxation… my husband is moving so much better and feels better overall post run! I battle with insomnia and restlessness and some of the pools assist with relaxation, stress reduction, and sleep and I have been sleeping very well in Utah! Some of our favorite pools were the Australia, South Korea, and the Blue Lagoon. During our trip to the area we actually went back twice within 48 hours. Once at night for stargazing (highly recommended)! Then the other during the day so that I could tan a little bit. I won’t lie, being from Wisconsin we were a little skeptical of hot springs in 110° weather but the various temperature pools including the occasional dip in the cold plunges (burr) it was an extremely pleasant experience and we stayed outside the entirety of both of our times on property. I wouldn’t be giving a full review if I did not comment on our beverage choice. We did not go during hours that we would have been eating however, many people had good looking food from the nachos to pizza. We will definitely have to try those when we come back. But as for the drinks, my husband and I were pleasantly suprised by the options of crafted soda, mocktails, and cocktails. We ordered their drink “The Lola”, and it was absolutely delicious. All and all the facility was clean, well managed, and employees that we encountered knew their history of the area and the process of making the Zion Canyon Hot Springs possible. If you are considering visiting the area, this is a “Must Do” on your travel itinerary.

What an absolutely incredible experience at Zion Canyon Hot Springs! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how peaceful and rejuvenating the whole atmosphere was. Nestled against the breathtaking backdrop of Zion, it truly feels like a hidden oasis. The views alone are worth the visit—but the experience itself goes far beyond expectations. The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They made me feel right at home and answered all my questions without hesitation. Their warmth and professionalism really helped set the tone for the day, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. To be completely honest, I’ve said from the beginning that I didn’t think I’d ever pay to get into a hot springs spa—I just didn’t think it would be worth it. But after spending time soaking in the mineral-rich water today, I can confidently say I was completely wrong. The tubs were clean and well-maintained, the temperature was perfect, and the layout of the pools made it easy to relax, whether you wanted a quiet solo soak or time with friends or a partner. The calming environment, the stunning views, and the way my entire body felt afterward—it was beyond what I expected. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and completely refreshed. It was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. And now? I’m fully set on buying a membership. It’s absolutely worth it, and I already know I’ll be coming back regularly. Whether you’re local or visiting the area, I highly recommend making time for a visit to Zion Canyon Hot Springs. Even if you just go once, I promise you—it’ll be an unforgettable experience that leaves you feeling renewed in every way.

This is the perfect place to relax. Whether from a long work week, girls getaway, couples time or in my case after 5 hours of hiking! The mineral pools are a gift to your body! Check in was easy breezy with the courteous and pleasant staff. Large lobby area with boutique shopping available for all things water related. HUGE locker rooms with lockers, showers, bathroom amenities and a machine to squeeze and store your wet bathing suits. Robes and slippers are also available for a nominal fee. Enjoy the Utah specific mineral pools, the family pool and cafe as you enter the pool area. I absolutely appreciated the 21 and older requirement for the Premier Access side. Here you will enjoy pools from all over the world, private cabanas (reservations required) and cafe with adult beverages. My only ding was service at the cafe was slow for both food and drinks. The facility had only been open a couple of weeks when I visited, so my assumption is that they were understaffed and still figuring things out. The staff at the cafe were still accommodating to the frustration of some of the guests. Both sides provide 1 of 3 cold plunge pools (45, 50 & 55 degrees) and 1 of 3 hot saunas. All mineral pools are covered allowing shade and partial sunlight. Bring your own water bottle to refill at the multiple stations. Lifeguards are present and there is a spot for complimentary towels and flip flop purchase if you need them. Lounge chairs and tables are throughout surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery and spa music. Your mind and body will thank you!

We visited this place after a recommendation from a family member who went in the evening recently in July and called this “a wonder of the world.” We were pretty excited as my husband’s family is Japanese and we also lived there so expected this to be a cross between a spa vs onsen vs Korean spa experience. Unfortunately, I would call this a huge swing and a miss. The concept has a lot of potential but the details leave this place sorely missing a lot.

To explain, we arrived after hiking Zion midday. We are a family with three little kids (1 yo, 4 yo, 8 yo). We did not make reservations in advance as we were told there are very few people attending currently. When we went to get tickets, the attendant was very bad. When we asked questions, she could not answer most of them, and she over charged us ( my family member was also overcharged when she came). Also the resort (or at least our attendant) was charging prices for family vs 21+ access … this makes no sense because, all the mineral pools were closed due to pump issues (this was a huge thing to me because that is the MAJORITY of their pools) and they were allowing access to ANYONE to any part of the resort to make up for it.

We also noticed that no one reminded us, nor was there any signage to tell people to remove jewelry, as mineral water will tarnish it. Again, small details…

The locker rooms were spacious and had soap, shampoo, and conditioner, though the labels are almost not readable.

The pool area is straight outside the locker area, and easily accessed. Now July, mid-day in Utah is very hot. We came from a hike so we only had hiking shoes and sneakers so it was quite a shock to us when you literally could not walk to the pool chairs or area in the middle of the day without either burning your feet or wearing shoes. Generally if this is expected to be a regular thing, a high end spa would offer cheap spa shoes/sandals so their guest can actually safely walk around their resort. At the pool themselves, you couldn’t even touch the railing to walk in as it was burning hot and again would burn you. Because the pavement was so hot, you couldn’t touch the side of the pool without splashing with water first. The pools themselves were nice, though (as previous people mentioned), most of the pools are closed due to pump failures so despite them offering full access to the full resort to make up for it, it is a big deal and does a disservice to the people who are looking for an experience free of children. My kids loved it still. My favorite pools were the ones on the 21+ access area. Very few of the pools had any shade unfortunately, making it hard to stay in the pool too long. There is cold water available to drink through the pool area.

We also used the small cafe they have. It offered a lot of stuff. We ended up getting a bunch of smoothies which were pretty tasty.

In the end, I don’t know that I would return. If you are paying that premium price, you should be getting a high end experience, that is thoughtful of the customer’s experience. Rather, I feel this place is just offering different pools, hoping it will speak for itself. A comparable Japanese onsen would cost me at most $10-15 US dollars and the experience would have...

I’d skip this one if I were you. We had a pretty terrible customer service experience there, which is unacceptable considering my husband and I paid $150 for a food and drink package and our 3 hour rate. If you’re charging that much, your customer service better be EXCELLENT and your pools should be pristine, which is what we were expecting for the price we paid. We had several bad run-ins.

The first was in the locker room. During check-in the red headed employee briefly explained the locker instructions and they seemed simple enough. I went into the locker room and could not for the life of me get the chip to work on a locker. It was probably user error, which I fully admit, but the employee did not explain how to use them, just that you hold your wristband to it to lock it. After struggling with multiple lockers, I went back to the front desk, thinking my wristband could’ve been broken or I just didn’t know how to use it.

I approached the same employee who had checked us in just moments before, and told her I thought my wristband may have had a problem, and I was nice about it. I waited my turn in line, I was polite. She cut the old one off my wrist and examined it. After she threw it into the bin, she turned to her male coworker and said “Well it has a microchip in it so it MUST be broken.” I pretty instantly caught the sarcasm and her coworker LAUGHED in front of me. I’ve worked many customer service jobs before and that is NOT how you do business. If you want to treat customers like that, go work at McDonald’s not a hot springs that charges $70 per customers.

Getting to the hot springs from the locker room is also a little confusing. There were more people than just me who were confused on how to get outside and how to use the lockers. A little signage and better verbal or written instructions would go a long way.

After that experience, I was a bit put off for the rest of the night, but tried not to dwell on it and have the best time we could. We enjoyed some of the pools, the sauna, and it’s very pretty. We did see a little scorpion running around, so be aware if you decide to walk around barefoot at night. That isn’t at all the fault of the facility, but you should be aware.

About 60%-70% of the pools are mineral pools and have rocks in the bottom of them. When we first got into one of these, we thought it was a cool experience. After we settled in, we saw a plethora of dead skin, hair, finger and toe nails and who knows what floating around from our feet disturbing the rocks. GROSS! We stuck to the non rock pools after that, and once again, tried to just focus on having a good time.

However, my husband who left a separate review, had ANOTHER bad experience with using our food and beverage tickets. At this point, our experience was extremely tainted with rude, inconsiderate employees(minus the food and beverage team, they were pretty great) and dirty pools.

Don’t waste your time or your money here. I left practically in tears after being treated rudely time and time again and feeling that we had completely wasted nearly $200 on a terrible experience. We completely regret choosing to spend part of...

This isn't just a collection of pools; it's a world-class wellness experience and the ultimate way to recover after a day of hiking the incredible red rock canyons.
