Zion Amazing Adventures — Attraction in La Verkin

I have so many good things to say about our experience. Our guide Tori was amazing! We were hesitant to go through with our tour because of our activities the day before (we were sore) when we text him to ask what all it entailed, he called us and walked us through the process. The next day during our tour he went our pace and let us stop often to rest on the hike. We never felt pressured to go faster than we could. When we arrived at the first rappel, Tori thoroughly educated us on the ropes, the process and ensured us that we didn’t need to go fast. We felt completely safe being under his supervision. The hike was challenging for us both but the views, the rappelling, the slow pace, lunch at the springs made it all worth it. I HIGHLY recommend doing a tour with these guys. They know what they are doing and safety is their priority. I can’t say that for another group that was near us with another company. You could tell safety was not the other company’s priority. If you’ve thought about doing canyoneering, book with these guys and if you’re lucky you’ll get Tori!

We enjoyed our full day canyoneering experience through Water Canyon with Jared repelling big walls, splashing in cold water and exploring side slot canyons. The canyon was very pretty with unique repels. I would definitely recommend, but suggest choosing a slightly earlier meeting time (ours was 8:20) to beat other groups to the first set of repels. We got stuck behind a family group of 8, leading to a fair amount of waiting around. This did let us get to know Jared better and learn more about the great other adventures to be had in the area and the priorities and direction of the company, but we would have preferred the group to let us pass (a common practice on the trails- so really this reflects poorly on the other company). The adventure itself wasn't quite as thrilling as we were looking for... though, we are a pretty high adventure couple, so for most this is probably the right level as we found it adventurous yet relaxing. We had the most incredible experience rock climbing and canyoneering with Amazing Adventures! We had 2 families vacationing together and the kids (ages 10-13) begged me to try rock climbing. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but really thought it would be pretty basic, beginner instruction. I thought I would just video the kids climbing a bit and that would be it. However, Jared and Tyler were the most incredible guides. They taught us all about rock climbing and repelling safety. They were extremely patient and everyone in our group rock climbed to the top! We loved repelling so much that we added canyoneering to our day. I was so glad we did both because some in our group liked climbing more and some liked repelling more. It truly was the most magical day and an incredible experience! We would highly recommend this to anyone with or without experience. Thanks for giving us this wonderful experience...
