Lovely park, almost didn't want to leave a review, because I want this swimming hole to stay a hidden gem 😉. This would get 5 stars, but (despite being generally very clean) there was a broken bottle in the water by the shore. I am sure this is uncommon. There is also no bathroom. One thing I know people will love, is there are so many little spots to access swimming, that it can feel like you have your own private beach! I've seen rumors that "they" are going to tear up the park for expensive apartments and if they did it would be a huge loss! Read moreBeautiful, we are moving close by and were investigating the area.....we found the boat launch and the lake trail that leads down to the park table's that look overthe water.it's not as pretty a view as st the boat launch but it does have it's beauty. My husband and I are disabled so we only walked so far.....so I don't know how far the trail actually went but people were carrying kayaks with them down the trail so there must have been a place to launch small rafts canoes and kayaks at the waters edge. I'll bet it's much prettier at the waters edge than where we stopped at but our poor legs just wouldn't carry us...
Read moreThis is a beautiful and quiet little park. There are no play structures but there are two to three picnic benches and a great climbing tree! Limited parking with approximately 6-8 parking spaces. A small access area to the water makes it a nice place to cool off in the summer heat and it must be a great fishing spot!
