Lovely park, almost didn't want to leave a review, because I want this swimming hole to stay a hidden gem 😉. This would get 5 stars, but (despite being generally very clean) there was a broken bottle in the water by the shore. I am sure this is uncommon. There is also no bathroom. One thing I know people will love, is there are so many little spots to access swimming, that it can feel like you have your own private beach! I've seen rumors that "they" are going to tear up the park for expensive apartments and if they did it would be a huge loss! When I was there, excluding a few rude people, it really felt like a community park: kind people, spending time with friends and family, meeting new...

Beautiful, we are moving close by and were investigating the area.....we found the boat launch and the lake trail that leads down to the park table's that look overthe water.it's not as pretty a view as st the boat launch but it does have it's beauty. My husband and I are disabled so we only walked so far.....so I don't know how far the trail actually went but people were carrying kayaks with them down the trail so there must have been a place to launch small rafts canoes and kayaks at the waters edge. I'll bet it's much prettier at the waters edge than where we stopped at but our poor legs just wouldn't carry us...

This is a beautiful and quiet little park. There are no play structures but there are two to three picnic benches and a great climbing tree! Limited parking with approximately 6-8 parking spaces. A small access area to the water makes it a nice place to cool off in the summer heat and it must be a great fishing spot!

A word of warning: make sure you wear water shoes if you plan to go down to the beach or get into the water. We found three Rusty fishing hooks on the beach and...

A serene and peaceful park tucked away in a residential area, with trails among beautiful old trees, a lawn/clearing for picnics , a couple picnic tables and trash cans, and access to Hicks Lake with a view of Mt Rainier/Tahoma when it's out. There is a small parking lot and paved pathways to both the lake and the large lawn/clearing. No restrooms or playground; dogs must be on a leash.

This was a beautiful recreational area, there are many isolated picnic spots overlooking the lake. They are lots of hiking trails, and lake access The lake is in the middle of a community, with a few others lakes peppered around the Olympia area. Coming from Nor Cal, it was amazing to see everything so green and small lakes in the area on top of all of that.

Some short wooded trails lead to beautiful Hicks Lake with a spectacular view of Mt Rainier. Enjoyed walking my dog and sitting by the water taking in the view. Only downside is no restroom and a bit noisy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon but still able to find some solitude.
